Request: Walking frame (GU3 - Wood Street Village) Expired - I'm looking for a walking frame for my neighbour. After a bad fall she is slowly getting her mobility back. She has one of those NHS zimmer frames, but it just has two tiny wheels and two legs, which is fine for indoors but hopeless for going out, because of the unevenness of her driveway and the lanes nearby where she would like to start walking. She needs something with either three or four larger wheels, some kind of brake, and ideally somewhere to hang a bag or anything else she needs to carry. Free: Single bed (GU3 - Wood Street Village) Gifted - Full sized single bed, originally from Habitat some years ago but clean and in good condition, with slatted base and tiltable bed head made of thick, cream-coloured cotton. Would require a cross-head screwdriver and an allen key if necessary to dismantle for transport - I can supply the latter. Mattress not included.

Free: Baby/toddler swing seats (GU3 - Wood Street Village) Gifted - Two baby swing seats with lap straps and ropes (which fit onto hooks on the swing overhead bar) attached. They look rather battered but in fact haven't had a huge amount of use, except when my grandchildren came to stay. One has a removable front section as in the photo - in the other it's fixed.

Free: Angelcare nappy disposal bin (GU3 - Wood Street Village) Gifted - Originally bought from Mothercare. Takes a cartridge with a long tubular plastic bag - you push in the nappy through the opening at the top (which does a fairly good job of cutting out smells). When the bin is full you can cut off (with the inbuilt cutter) the bottom of the plastic tube, tie a knot and there you are. It's remarkably efficient for the very small sum I paid for it, and lasted through two grandchildren. There's a cartridge still in place, and two full ones as well. Amazon still sells the latter.
