Free: Tall book shelves (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Posting for a friend - White shelving units (2) with a fixed shelf at centre (as shown) and flexible height shelf options for an additional 4 or 5 shelves for each unit. These are tall 7 feet plus as brooms show for scale. Each unit about 30 inches wide. If you have room for one or both of these you will need to be able to pick up. They can be left in front of garage for pick up. I can get precise measurements next time I am in this garage (not mine). These are in great shape and the fittings for adding in the shelves are all there.

Free: Vertical book display twirlies (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted I have 4 or 5 metal twirly devices that were used to display paperback books or DVDs or greeting cards or similar sized items. All about 5 1/2 feet in height with a base that the display spins on. width about 2 feet. The white ones are a bit narrower but the display slots are wider. Quite robust. . If you are doing a book sale or any sort of display or storage in your home these are quite handy. Take as many as you might need and find a good use for. They will fit in a hatchback car. Happy to provide more details if interested and possibly assist in transport.

Free: Hockey net (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Withdrawn Seen at the curb 55 Westward Way. In good shape used for street hockey. Kids have outgrown it I guess. Available any time as at the curb with sign FREE.

Free: Wire pet crate - folding (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Expired This is older and a bit rusty but it is serviceable as a spare or if you need to keep a pet quiet after surgery. Measures just under 30 x 30 inches height and length and the door ends are 20 inches wide. It folds flat for storage or transport. It could be spruced up with some spray paint and a blanket become a personal space for your small dog or cat to call their own. Maybe the structure for an exterior pet shelter with some cover for shade?

Free: Curb alert Filing cabinets (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Expired 3 or 4 filing cabinets some tall 4 drawer and some 2 drawer cabinets at teh curb on Mariposa ave between Buchan and Springfield Road. Opposite Ashbury College. All are narrrow about 2 feet wide rather than longer width. In excellent condition with dividers etc. Light beige in colour. Not my place just seen in passing. Will re post if I see they are gone though.

Free: 3 ring binders many at curb (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Expired Seen at curb 145 Lakeway Drive. Binders are in good shape and different sizes and colours. Free to good home. Bundled in shopping bags. Please share and take just one.

Free: Assorted utility shelving options (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Expired There are three separate items. 1. The plastic 4 black box stack like milk cartons. It is spoken for now. 2. A metal and canvas three shelver - quite light stands 26 " high and not for a big weight. 3. Three shelves each 36" long that can be used with your own supports (bricks, boxes, brackets) Best use a garage or basement storage as a bit beat up. Porch pick up fine just let me know when and which items of interest.

Free: Incontinence pads smoke free home (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted POise Overnight extra coverage level 8. Three packages open and one unopened each 22 pads. Packages are purple and sell for 17/18 $ at Shoppers in case this helps to identify what I have on offer. I am unable to upload photo as format not accepted by Trash Nothing. These products are not longer what we need. I suspect best for women. Porch pick up just give me notice.

Free: Wood frame casement window operates (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Expired The window is from cottage and would work well in a 3 season dwelling or shed or playhouse or greenhouse. 47 inches wide and 30 inches high framed in cedar. The window is not exactly as shown but the pictures show the style. I can grab another picture if anyone interested. The window is one fixed pane and one casement that opens (not the third pane shown in picture) there is a screen and extra panes that work as storm windows. It was in a washroom so the primary pane of glass is frosted while the storms are clear. If interested I can transport it into Ottawa for pick up within the week.

Free: LAzy Susan components (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted I had to dismantle this lazy susan from a corner cupboard, I thought these might be of use to somebody else for another or the same purpose. The components that are intact are a round wood tray 31" in diameter and one about 20" in diameter. There is also the pole to mount on and the things to hold each tray to the pole. I have the middle sized wood tray shelf but it has a chunk removed from it. You will also need some new screws as the ones removed were slotted and got lost in the shuffle. Not an odd size easy to replace.

Free: Roofing Ridge Vents metal (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted 3 Metal ridge vents each 10 feet long. Not pretty but very functional. I have replaced the roof shingles and one of the 4 ridge vents needed replacing as well. We could not find ridge vents that matched as they were out of stock everywhere. So we ended up replacing all the ridge vents with a different type made of plastic then covered with shingles. Not as robust. So I have 3 useable metal roof vents to cover a 30 foot ridge. The picture shows the underside aluminum silver and the upper side painted dark brown and a bit scratched. I figured if anyone else doing roofing found this type of ridge vent out of stock they might like these.

Free: Curb alert - various furniture item (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Expired 1. a small table with fold down leaves and 4 detachable legs (needs a bit of cosmetic tlc but fully functional) perfect for small space when extra folks for dinner throw a table cloth on it. 2 A Wheelbarrow it runs. 3. A rough wooden chest or foot locker, 2 feet by 3 feet and 2 feet high - sturdy. Garbage day it Wednesday everything will go. corner of Lyttleton Gardens and Westward Way. Not my stuff just seen while out walking. If interested I can snap a photo or two.

Free: Glass Panes maybe for greenhouse (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted These were windows with aluminum frames which have been removed so just glass panes in three different sizes. 2 are 24" x 24" 10 are 24" x 20 and 15 are 26x 24inches Sorry old windows are sized non metric and I don t have a metric tape measure handy. Fine for porch pick up just let me know how many and which size and I can set out for you.

Free: Large Thule rack - Mountaineer (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted Not mine spotted at garbage area Thursday. Garbage is Tuesday. Parking lot behind 380 Springfield. Key is in lock and it appears intact. About 7 feet long. Go pick it up if interested.

Free: 1.5 cu foot moving boxes (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted I expect to have a considerable number of 1.5 boxes that have been used to pack books so bit well loved but serviceable. They are still built but could be collapsed to fit more in a car. They will be available Sunday evening but fine to arrange a pick up for Monday or Tuesday. If interested let me know I can send you address for pick up and how many you would like. thks

Free: Wood shavings - for pet bedding? (Old Ottawa East) Gifted WE have several bags of wood shavings from carpentry work (planer) These might be good for pet bedding or any other use you might have. Porch pick up fine.

Free: Moving or storage boxes (larger) (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Expired 7 or 8 boxes from delivery as well as some packing material - bubble wrap and paper. These have had a single use and strong clean. They are about 1.5 cubic foot size so not ideal for a lot of heavy stuff but great for textiles or kitchen appliances some dishes .... They are intact now but can be flattened easily for transport.

Free: Washing Machine - working (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted My neighbour is having a new washer dryer set delivered today and they think they want to give away the washer as it is still operating well. It will need to be picked up from the curb this week as not great to leave outdoors in cold/wet. It is an LG front loader looks to be regular size. anybody interested ? Please give me a reason or purpose so I can let them know and they can select a lucky recipient in case there are multiple takers.
