Free: Unique Empty Lego Containers (Darien - near 75th x Cass Ave.) These are EMPTY LEGO Technic, LEGO Dinosaurs, and one LEGO Bionical containers. Great to ... store Legos in, use as unique gift containers or play containers on their own. (Are they collectible?) They are a bit dusty on the outside; could use a good wipe down/rinse. Free: "Flex Grate"brand Downspout Filters (Darien - near 75th x Cass Ave.) 2 downspout filter attachments to divert leaves and prevent them from clogging your drainage system. They work well. (We saved them when we replaced our gutters recently. They were used for about two seasons.) We placed them at the bottom of our downspouts but did not attach them with screws so they are "like new" but a little dirty. Free: Deluxe Bubble Wrap (Darien - near 75th x Cass Ave.) Gifted These are not your run-of-the-mill "Air Pillows" -- although we have some of those too! This is heavy plastic, rectangular cell, bubble wrap. It was used to cushion a guitar for shipping. There are many 2' x 2' sections, and then a longer length (pls. see pics.) Free: Large amount of Soft, White Fabric (Darien - near 75th x Cass Ave.) Gifted This was originally purchased for use as a background for photography. This is in two pieces. The first piece is 4 foot long by 4 foot 3 inches wide. (It was cut from the original piece.) The second piece is considerably longer: 4'3" wide by 13 1/2 feet long (162"). Not sure what kind of fabric but my guess is a cotton flannel-type material. Nice and soft. Note: the second photo shows the longer length folded in half. Will be using the "Fair Chance" policy. (Not sure it was ever used.) Can be used to contain almost anything: Plant holder? Kitchen storage? Laundry room catch-all? Kids' room container? Bathroom emergency toilet paper roll holder?? Free: Older Altec Computer Speakers (Darien - near 75th x Cass Ave.) Gifted "Altec Lansing Multimedia Speaker System, ACS41" - two speakers plus a power source for a Gateway 2000 computer(?) These have been gathering dust in our garage. (No extra charge for the dust.) Not sure if they work or not. I think we had them plugged into a boombox at some point. (Remember those?) As I'm typing this I'm realizing it may be best for everyone if these went to electronics recycling. But in the off chance someone can repurpose them or enshrine them in their personal "Museum of Old Tech", I'll offer them here. Thanks for reading.

Request: Mobile wire racks (Darien - near 75th x Cass Ave.) Expired Might be a longshot, but ... hoping someone has this - or a form of this - heavy duty wire spool rack in their hobby or garage workspace that they're no longer using. Free: Atomy Toothpaste (Darien - near 75th x Cass Ave.) Gifted 7.05 oz. Atomy toothpaste. Features green tea extract and propolis extract (from bees.) This has been opened and sampled/used once, but didn't care for the taste (it's a strong minty-ish flavor.) So it's basically full. Again, NOTE: this has been used once (applied to a toothbrush.) Request: Source for food-safe spot welding (Darien - near 75th x Cass Ave.) Expired Anyone know of an outlet/storefront/individual that/who does minor spot welding work? We have two kitchen tools that need quick spot welds. (Food safe.) They're pretty durable otherwise, which is why we'd love to hang onto them. Ideally within 5 miles of us.
