Wood, lots of it (Blacktown near station)
Gifted
I have been a woodworker most of my life, especially the past 40 years. Living on a large suburban block in one of the 1940s houses built when it was a cow paddock, with my long garage in which I collected wood and made things with wood. Also being 10 minutes’ walk from Westpoint and that Blacktown bus/rail station. So last year the zoning was changed to medium residential density. Developers knocking at the door, auction signs up and down the street, skips in driveways, an unpleasant place to live. We took the money and will end up in a villa in Ettalong with only a small garage. So, we can’t take the wood, which will end up in a skip next week. Which will be a waste. If there is some kind of wood you happen to need, it’s probably here. Just come and take it away. There are also bricks. But wood of all kinds. Large sheets of plywood, dowels, Slab and rail pieces which were once furniture, shop counters or pianos. Outdoor timber from old carports, garden racks. Floorboard offcuts. Shelves. Boards of varied widths, lengths and thicknesses. Slender slats (probably teak) from plantation blinds. All kinds of wood just waiting for a good home. The photo only shows part of what is available.

Gandalf’s cloak. He used to drop by for a mug of mead on his travels around Middle Earth. The last time he got called away to a meeting at Rivendell. Something about a war. Forgot his cloak.
