These can be attached to the upright post at the top and/or bottom of stairs but are particularly useful to provide a grip where stairs turn a corner. They simply need to be screwed onto the post. Free: Book - "Planning a Home" (OX4 Rose Hill) Expired 1927 book giving advice on designing a home (including a suggested design for a "Two-maid house"). Afraid the book is in poor condition having been exposed to damp for many years which has mainly affected the binding - the individual pages are fine and the contents of the book are perfectly legible - I have added a few photos to give an idea what to expect. Just wondered whether anyone might be interested to read the ideas and thoughts that are nearly 100 years old.
