Free: Foxglove seedlings (Beacon Hill North) Gifted I have four white foxglove seedlings & no sunny spot to accommodate them. In addition, they are poisonous which doesn’t pair well with my little garden buddy (dog). “Foxgloves are highly poisonous plants that should never be ingested or consumed in any way. Though Grecian foxglove (Digitalis lanata) is used to create a drug that treats heart failure, the foxglove should not be used by anyone to self-treat any type of medical condition. Keep pets and small children away from foxgloves planted in your yard or in your home. Always use protective gloves when handling the foxglove plant or its seeds.”

Free: Lemon Balm Plants (Beacon Hill North) Gifted This fragrant plant is purported to keep mosquitoes away although I suspect that’s a bit of a myth. Lemon balm is known for its medicinal properties plus the leaves can be dried to make tea. A sunny spot is required to keep this plant happy & healthy. It will spread so needs to be watched. Lots of additional info online.

Free: Lungwort / Pulmonaria (Beacon Hill North) Gifted This plant blooms early & the bees love it. After the flowers are gone, the silver speckled leaves continue to add beauty & interest to your garden. They are easy to grow & do well in full to partial shade.

Free: Golden creeping Jenny (Beacon Hill North) Gifted This bright yellow ground cover will be an enthusiastic addition to your garden. It is an easy-to-grow perennial that requires full sun / partial shade. Although it spreads quickly, it is shallow rooted & easily pulled.

Free: Piece of chain link fence (Beacon Hill North) Gifted Green, plastic coated chain link. I have no idea how much is on the roll. If there is interest, I will go out & measure the height.

Free: Double kitchen sink (Beacon Hill North) Expired This undermount sink is 18.25” wide by 32.75” long. It could do with a bit of a cleaning but other than that, there’s nothing wrong with it.

Free: Solomon’s Seal plant (Beacon Hill North) Gifted This is a perennial woodland shade loving plant. Easy to grow. The first photo shows what the plant looks like for most of the growing season while the second shows her in her autumn attire.

Free: Table base & top rim (Beacon Hill North) Gifted Four-legged base & top rim of what was once a pier 1 table. Included is the actual wooden table top upon which the original mosaic was placed. The wooden top is not usable other than as a template for a new table top. Forgot to include the measurements - 36” = diameter & 29” = height.

Free: hostas (Beacon Hill North) Gifted I have a variety of hostas to gift. They have been dug up & are ready to go. Some may look a bit raggedy this late in the season but they will be beautiful next summer. Although they do bloom, this outdoor, shade loving plant is grown mostly for its leaves.

Free: Tall tiger lilies (Beacon Hill North) Gifted These orange lilies (Lilium lancifolium (also Lilium tigrinum)) are approximately 5 feet tall & very easy to grow. They do spread, but politely & in an easily controlled fashion. Apparently they are toxic to humans & cats.

Free: Keurig coffee maker (Beacon Hill North) Gifted This appliance has suddenly decided that it doesn’t recognize Keurig pods & refuses to function. I don’t know if it’s just a blip or whether it will come around & start to behave. Either way, it has been replaced & is up for grabs. Could perhaps be useful for its various bits & pieces.

Free: Two IKEA bookcases (Beacon Hill North) Expired Two white IKEA bookcases measuring 70” tall X 30” wide X 9” deep. I would say they are Billy Bookcases but they seem to measure a tad smaller. Each has one fixed shelf & there are 6 moveable shelves to share between the two items. There should be 2 fibreboard pieces to close off the backs but I only have one. These pieces are far from new but would be perfect for a garage, garden shed or basement storage space. If you’re interested, let me know & I’ll try to get a decent photo.

Free: Lattice (Beacon Hill North) Expired I have 5 pieces of lattice to gift. Each piece is approximately 47” X 68”. They have been part of a deck that is being demolished & have been outside for around 15 years. If you’re interested, please let me know ASAP as they’ll likely be going into the dumpster tomorrow.
