Free: Child's car seat (Kirkintilloch area) Promised Britax Romer car seat, suitable for babies and toddlers up to about age 5. It's about six years old but is in excellent condition and has has a totally clean record (no bumps or accidents in the car). Collection any time.

Free: petrol hedge trimmer (Kirkintilloch area) McCulloch Virginia MH555. Pretty ancient, but it was working OK a few years ago when it was given to me. I can't get it start at the moment, so it probably needs a service, and maybe a new spark plug. I'm sure it's a good little machine, so ideal for someone who is good with petrol engines. Collect any time.

Request: Kid's bike (Kirkintilloch area) Expired Looking for a bike suitable for our five-year-old granddaughter. She will only need it for four weeks in the summer, so not worth buying one. It could be returned later, if necessary, or passed on to another trashnothinger. Thanks in advance. Ray

Free: dinnerware (Kirkintilloch area) Gifted Incomplete Hornsea 'Contrast' dinner set, comprising: 7 dinner plates; 6 side plates; 5 dessert bowls; 3 storage jars; 1 milk jug; 1 cream jug. Also miscellaneous other items including Habitat 'Scraffito' serving platter, bowls (2) and side plate All in perfect condition.

Free: Toddler trike (Kirkintilloch area) Gifted Suitable for a 2-3 year old, with clip-on safety harness and handle bar for adult guidance. Just a cheapo thing from Lidl, but our granddaughter had hours of fun from it last summer!

Free: Three toddler bikes (Kirkintilloch area) Gifted 1. Balance bike suitable for 3-4 years old. Bought for our granddaughter last summer and used about 5 times before she graduated to a pedal bike, so effectively brand new. Saddle goes up to about 18". 2. Pedal bike for same age, saddle going up to about 20". Acquired from another kind Trash-nothinger a couple of years ago, and now ready to move on. 3. Small trike for 2-3 years old, with clip-on safety harness and guide bar for adult supervision. Just a cheapo thing from Lidl, but will give a toddler hours of fun.

Free: Printer (Kirkintilloch area) Expired HP Photosmart C4680 printer/copier/scanner. It has a power cable but not a connection to the computer (but could be used with wifi connection). Hasn't been used for many years, so the nozzles will probably need to be cleaned. A good machine for scanning if nothing else.

Request: Balance bike (Kirkintilloch area) Expired Looking for a balance bike suitable for our four-year-old granddaughter who will be visiting this summer. She will only need it for a month, and then we'll pass it on to another Trash Nothing youngster. Thanks in advance.

Free: Fireguard (Kirkintilloch area) Expired Wire-frame fireguard, 26" (66cm) high x 17" (43cm) deep, length adjustable from 39" (97cm) to 59" (1.5m). For collection.

Free: carpet tiles (Kirkintilloch area) Gifted 7 light brown carpet tiles, each 50cm x 50cm so will cover an area of about 2.5 sq metres. They are marked on the back as 'Nairnflair Encore' but I don't think the manufacturers are trading any more. They were surplus to requirement and have been in the attic for 30 years (!), but still as new. It's unlikely they will match anybody's existing floor covering, but they might do for a carpeting a cupboard or similar small space.

Free: Petrol mower (Kirkintilloch area) Gifted Mountfield petrol mower in need of repair. Engine works fine but carburetor has a fault that prevents fuel getting through. A cinch for someone who is good with engines, or could be used for spares.
