If this means nothing to you you don't need it! I was trying to get my TV to connect to an external speaker [its bluetooth was bizarrely propriety and would only talk to it's own devices]. I could not get it to work, maybe the combination was wrong, but one, other or both might be of use to someone … Cheers, Colin
