Request: Foam/sponge/cot mattress (Chaddesden DE21) Hello, I am looking for large pieces of foam/sponge to replace couch cushions. If anybody has any they don't need, either as just foam/sponge or in the form of an unwanted mattress made of these materials. Thickness isn't so important as I can spray glue them in layers 🙂 I would be most grateful to repurpose them and can arrange to collect at your convenience. Thank you.

Free: Small Pet cage (large size) (Chaddesden DE21) Withdrawn Large (long) cage for small pets such as rabbit, guinea pig, gerbils etc. NOT big enough for a dog. We were gifted this to look after a lost rabbit we rescued from a neighbours garden - in used condition but still plenty of use left in it. There's a small raised area with a built in bowl, also creates a private hiding area as the animal can go underneath it too. No photos because it currently needs a clean but I'll be able to send pictures if interested as I'll be cleaning it out tomorrow :)

Request: Wheelchair/footrests (Chaddesden DE21) Withdrawn Hello, my friend has had surgery on her foot (it's been fully reset, so big op requiring lots of recovery time for bones to fuse back) She has been lent a wheelchair but it doesn't have foot rests and that's the part she needs the most. If anybody is able to either lend a wheelchair with footrests or has some footrests that can attach to a wheelchair we would be very grateful to be able to borrow it please. Between us we can arrange to collect most times of any day :) Thank you

Free: 2 faulty flat screen tvs (Chaddesden DE21) Cant quite remember but I think one is about 32 inch and turns on-ish. As in can be temperamental, taking a few goes to turn on and sometimes will turn off for no apparent reason. Second one is pretty big, 50inch I think - the screen just went off while we were watching one time and that was it. If anyone can make use of them I need them both gone asap - I'm sure there's usually a fella on here asking for broken tvs so thought it worth checking!

Request: Basic smart phone (Chaddesden DE21) Expired Hello all, I am trying to help an elderly neighbour who doesn't have family close by. I have been told she could get a phone from the council but that it won't have a camera etc. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just something she may be able to use for video calls with her family as she spends a lot of time alone and I am not able to be around enough to fix that fully. Any offers gratefully received. Thank you.

Free: 4 drawers + matching wardrobe (Chaddesden DE21) Gifted Wardrobe is dismantled already waiting to go. 2 doors with handles that match the drawers, it has 1 bottom drawer. Need gone asap

Free: Garden plants/flowers need reacuing (Chaddesden DE21) Expired We put these in stackable pots hoping they would grow nicely to look like a tower of plants but a combination of small pots and planting too late in the year mean they haven't been able to thrive. If anybody would like to rescue some plants, they'd look lovely in the garden next year but would likely need to be in a green house or something until spring. Plants to give away only, pots will be kept for trying again next year.

Free: Long unit/cube storage/TV stand (Chaddesden DE21) Expired Few marks and scuffing along the front but could easily be covered and done up with some vinyl. Has some holes on top as it used to be the base part of a larger unit. Smoke free home and pet (cat) free upstairs where the unit has lived. Need gone asap. Collection only, can't deliver unfortunately.

Free: Fold out single futon chair bed (Chaddesden DE21) Gifted Good for seating during the day in kids bedroom or folds out as a temporary sleeping space for guests. One of the under-side pieces of wood has been chewed by our pesky rabbit but doesn't effect use and isn't visible unless inspecting underneath. Need gone ASAP as making room for permanent single bed in its place. Collection only.
