They probably have a little scratching here and there as they have been in use very successfully for three years. It’s 55 years old. It’s very dusty and shabby. One of the strings won’t stay in tune as it’s tuning peg un-turns itself. It will work alright with the string removed. This is an accompanying type instrument for strumming chords. It’s mostly used in folk music. You can hear it in Dolly Partons Jolene and The Eagles Take it Easy. It’s fairly easy to play.
