Epson R-1900 A3 photo printer (Winnersh RG41)
The Epson Stylus Photo R1900 is an A3+ (13-inch wide) inkjet photo printer designed for high-quality, glossy, and professional prints. It utilizes 8-color UltraChrome Hi-Gloss 2 pigment inks, including red and orange for enhanced skin tones and vibrancy, plus a gloss optimizer for uniform finishes. It supports, roll paper, CD/DVD printing, and boasts 5760 x 1440 dpi, or at least that’s what the blurb says…. This one was dumped on us about 20!years ago, and very little use since then. I have no idea how practical it would be to get this printing again, which is why Freegle rather than eBay.

Tefal induction hob (Winnersh RG41)
Gifted
This is something we bought a couple of years ago when we were thinking about getting rid of our gas usage, to be able to test induction cooking. We learnt a lot from our brief experience with this thing, and it’s why I’m moving it on. We did get shot of gas and we did switch our gas hob to induction but we didn’t use Tefal. This has very coarse control over temperature; if you’re looking to simmer milk, get used to cleaning burnt milk off your pots...

Onkyo TA-201 cassette tape deck (Winnersh RG41)
Gifted
This has been sitting in our loft, in all its packaging, until the Great Loft Clearout occurred. It worked just fine when it got stored, so I see no reason for it to be a problem now. We’ve gone digital, so no more analogue hardware.

Free:
Wine glasses (Winnersh RG41)
8 Sainsbury’s wine glasses, 200ml each. We’ve had these since we moved into the district in 1986, and every so often we’ve acquired nicer glasses, so one by one, these got hidden away. Now, it’s clear-the-loft time, so these got found and retrieved. They’re standard Sainsbury’s basics glasses, nothing more than convenient holders of wine.

Stool with magazine holder (Winnersh RG41)
Gifted
This is a curio that we ‘inherited’ when our eldest emigrated, and it’s just taking space. It’s nicely made, the construction is good but it has to go to a better home. The book in the picture is for scale, it’s 42cm x 21cm x 45cm high. The magazine holder appears to be canvas, but She Who Must Be Obeyed suggested that the best way to determine this would be to set fire to it…. Anyway.

Tefal Intensy frying pan (Winnersh RG41)
Gifted
This is a lightly-used wide and shallow Tefal frying pan. Nothing wrong with it until we switched away from gas and went induction for the kitchen hob, and this was the only pan that won’t play. It’s about 31cm wide at the top, with a cooking surface 25cm wide, and it’s 4cm deep.

1l Crockpot (Winnersh RG41)
Gifted
We've had this for about a year, and the only reason we're moving it on is that She Who Must Be Obeyed was given a bigger one... 92-100W, so it's not goinmg to do anything quickly...

Inkjet transfer paper (Winnersh RG41)
Gifted
I bought these long ago for <something> and I have no recollection of why. One is a pack of 15 t-shirt transfers, and the other is a pack of waterslide decal papers, for things that behave like the transfers in Airfix kits. Both are unopened, and I’d love to remember what I was thinking…

Stockings & tights (Winnersh RG41)
Gifted
These got unearthed from She Who Must Be Obeyed’s wardrobe during a tidying frenzy; there’s a pair of Aristoc 10 denier black stockings in size M. There’s a pair of Pretty Polly 10 denier black stockings size ML. There’s also a pair of tights by Falke in size M/L, 15 denier and a sandy colour. All of these are unopened and unworn, but date back 20 or 30 years, so instant vintage….

An unwanted present that I forgot about. It’s a bottle, a bag of botanicals, some filters and labels, to which you add a 70cl bottle of 40% vodka and let sit for a while for the botanicals to seep through.

Hanging Oil & Wax Melt Burner (Winnersh RG41)
Expired
This is a two-piece oil&wax melt burner, about 18cm high. We’ve never used it, as it got dumped on us as part of a house move, so I can’t comment on its performance.

A sculptural puzzle (Winnersh RG41)
Gifted
Turned and carved from sapele, this is the ‘solved’ version of the puzzle. Normally you would present it as a collection of pieces and leave the victim to it… it’s about 12” square-ish and not particularly heavy.

Plasma lighter/torch/survival gizmo (Winnersh RG41)
Gifted
This is a Suprus USB arc lighter along with its ‘survival’ add-ons. I got it for my cigar-smoking wife 2 weeks ago, which shows how quickly she tired of it. Uses USB-C, has a strobe function (for attracting attention in the dark wilderness), and can(with a little care) light a small cigar(she doesn’t smoke large ones).

Bosch microwave platter (2off) (Winnersh RG41)
Expired
This is a pair of 245mm glass microwave platters, the bits that go round and carry the food. They’re from a microwave that someone destroyed by forgetting to put water into the rice cooker… Anyway, these are the original platter and its new replacement, intended to work with the microwave until we tried it and found the smoke/molten plastic coming back out of the works… so these are the usable bits from said microwave. Dishwasher clean, they’re still usable and not easily recyclable, so here we are.

Fox S2500-G2 grid-tied inverter (Winnersh RG41)
Gifted
This is a 6 month old solar inverter, made redundant by our other inverter upgrade. For details, please see /; it came as part of the community solar purchase that Wokingham did last year and it’s redundant because we upgraded our existing solar PV with a SolarEdge that would support the emergency power supply; think of it as auto-islanding from the other side. It’s got the WiFi widget on the bottom and that worked ok. If you want to get into solar PV and need a cheap start, this could be it. However, get advice from someone actually qualified in this; 400v can be hard to walk away from.

Vintage wardrobe shoe store (Winnersh RG41)

It's a coat-hanger for hanging up shoes, probably of the female persuasion (one of my size 13s would fill a pocket). 12 pockets, formed of some cotton fabric and made by my mother-in-law sometimes after WWII....

2 parcel tape dispensers (Winnersh RG41)

Triton shower kit (- mixer) (Winnersh RG41)
Gifted
We needed a replacement shower mixer and the only way to get one was to buy a complete kit(or so I was told). So now I have a shower kit with all the fittings to be a shower, minus the mixer. If you have a tired shower to revive ( and the mixer still works), then here you go...

Aluminium pots&pans (Winnersh RG41)
Gifted
Last year, we got rid of our gas boiler and went heat-pump. It made sense to get rid of the gas hob at the same time and put in an induction hob. These are the aluminium pans that simply won’t heat up on an induction hob. All from John Lewis, trademarked Tefal, in reasonable condition, there’s 20cm, 18cm,16cm and a 14cm milk pan, plus a 24cm hard anodised John Lewis frying pan.

Tripod floor lamp (Winnersh RG41)
Gifted
This is something that our eldest left us when he went from a 3-bedroom semi in Wargrave to a furnished studio apartment in Berlin. It’s got a LED bulb of strange appearance, is adjustable with wingnuts and is shown about halfway up to its maximum height. No idea of its provenance/origin/age, but it does work.

Tiny table saw (Winnersh RG41)

I bought one of these () and it’s not worth it. These things look amazing but there’s no power worth talking about in the motor. If someone has enough patience and a small yet powerful motor, it could be good; as it is, it’s disappointing, so be warned.

Tenon saw (Winnersh RG41)
Gifted
This is an old (as in 55 years old) Spear&Jackson tenon saw. I had it when I was trying to do things with wood, and then left it alone when it became clear that I shouldn’t do things with wood, I found it a few years ago, had it sharpened by Wokingham Tools, and then put it away ‘somewhere safe’. It’s time it was set loose....

Smeg domino gas hob (Winnersh RG41)
Expired
This is a used Smeg PGF32G gas hob from their domino range. We’ve had it about 12 years and it worked just fine but we replaced it with an induction hob last week. The replacement was so that we could get rid of our use of natural gas and just go electric/renewable. The round thing is a removable wok ring, so that round-bottomed pans can be used with the hob.
