These determined shoots grew in old compost after I put new compost in the tubs. One photo shows how big they grow. They will probably disappear to nothing in the Winter and then grow again very quickly in the Spring. They need to be sheltered from hard frosts. This is an incredible long shot but please does any one have a magnetic black pawn for an electronic chess set, or have any idea where I might find one? I have tried everything I can think of! Our set is a Saitek Kasparov President and very old but we seem to have lost one black pawn so the device will not work.
