Free: Support Stockings (Full/Thigh Length) (Harrogate HG1) Size: medium Toe: closed Type: thigh Colour: soft beige See photo of box lid for other details, if needed. Worn during the daytime for 3 days following recent surgery. Freshly laundered, obviously! One really tiny, narrow and short ladder at the top of one stocking which I have sealed with a dot of clear nail varnish. Does not affect performance.

Free: Curtain wires (Harrogate HG1) Plastic-coated curtain wires. Various lengths. Shortest is 56cm long. Longest is 164/165cm long. Others are inbetween. Loop at each end for attaching to small hooks which you would have to screw into your wall or more likely window frame.

Free: Glue Spatula (Harrogate HG1) Glue spatula. Better to buy a bottle of liquid glue and use one of these. Less plastic involved than with gluesticks :)

The postcards have been removed, but there are still photo corners on every page (these will come off) and also all the annotations for the postcards which used to be there. The central double page is loose. Could be used for an art project, I think, or maybe something else.

Free: Scrap Books for Re-Use / Upcycling (Harrogate HG1) Scrap Books on offer. These were used by me for my postcard collection as a child/young girl, hence all the annotations (which can have things stuck on top of them!) and photo corners (which can be peeled off). It would be a waste to put these into paper recycling (without the photo corners, of course), when I know they could be re-made into great scrapbooks of whatever kind. Here and there a double centre page has come loose, but of course could be re-attached/taped in - not rocket science ;) A couple of albums have come away from their cover. Ditto. Taker is welcome to choose whichever album or albums they prefer, including all of them if so desired. More photos available. Will send these to anyone who is interested to see more details of any particular scrap book.

Free: Foot File (for Hard Skin) (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Basic manual foot file. Coarse file for hard skin. Works very well. Comfortable to use. Finer file on reverse side has come off and got lost. Scrubbed clean. Sterilised. One clean-living owner :D !!

Free: Digging Bar / Giant Chisel (Harrogate HG1) Gifted I think this tool is called a Digging Bar. It's a kind of giant nail or chisel. This one is about 3ft or 1 metre long. It's used for thumping hard concrete or even hard earth, to make a hole for a fencing post or to break up hard ground or even concrete. It is barely detectable in the photo, but it is very, very slightly bent. I don't think it is bent enough for this to affect its effectiveness.

Free: Plastic 'storage/tidy/handy' basket (Harrogate HG1) Withdrawn Medium-sized plastic basket. 37.5cm long x 25cm wide (measured across widest parts) Cracked at one end. Does not affect performance! Photos show how cracked bit can be pressed into place and be barely noticeable. If used in a static position, will stay in place. Otherwise, only a small crack :) Surplus to requirements.

Free: Washing line wire (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Wipeable, plastic-coated wire. Our family uses lengths of this as washing lines. It's ideal for this. Anyone want some? I have a long measuring tape. You just need to bring scissors.

Free: King Size Cotton Duvet Cover & Matching Fabric Pieces (Harrogate HG1) Withdrawn King size duvet cover. Good quality pure cotton from Laura Ashley Homemade by me. Can include some spare/leftover pieces of the same fabric if the taker is interested. Enough to make matching pillowcases or cushion covers or whatever. The fabric is in great condition. Home environment has always been smoke- and pet-free. For opening and closing the cover, I fitted it with a very long zip. This has now broken irreparably. A new zip, a series of poppers or a length of popper tape needs to be fitted. Please see the photos showing how the stitching has come undone beyond each end of the zip because I continued to use the cover after the zip had given up the ghost. Fitting a new zip or replacing the zip with poppers or popper tape is a very straightforward sewing job for anyone used to sewing. I am not bothering to do this simply because I can't use this cover size.

Free: Single feather duvet (Harrogate HG1) Withdrawn Single feather duvet. Might even be feather and down, but the label is no longer legible and I can't remember. Can't remember the Tog value, either, but it's suitable for autumn-winter-spring, depending on how warm your house is! It is years old but has only been in our family and always in a smoke-free, pet-free house. Offering purely because it is surplus to requirements.
