Free: Bedside-type table/unit (Harrogate HG1) Solid wood bedside table. Single drawer. Shelf below. Has been sanded down by a previous owner for the 'distressed' look. All solid and in good condition except for a split in the panel at the back of the drawer - see photos. N.B. The drawer pulls out and pushes in easily. Does have a small number of woodworm holes acquired in its previous home. Treatment with one of those cans of woodworm killer with a fine nozzle will do the trick, if indeed there are any active little blighters still in there. Passing on simply due to downsizing.

Free: Curtain Drawing Rods (1 pair) (Harrogate HG1) A wooden pair of curtain drawing rods. Suitable for one pair of curtains. Helpful for drawing larger curtains. Good condition. Clip at one end to attach to last curtain ring to which curtain is attached. There is one extremely tiny woodworm hole in one of them. I think it is probably a very old hole, but I would advise the new owner to squirt a little bit of woodworm treatment into the hole, as is always the best thing to do.

Free: Vintage Magnetic Soap Holder (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Vintage magnetic soap holder. Brand: ZACK Made in West Germany Could be used for a small bar of soap or even a shaving brush (according to the diagrams on the box) Bought for the family caravan when I was a child, but I don't think it was ever fitted and used. The glue and screws have disappeared from the box.

Free: Hardwood Dining Chairs x 2 (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Pair of hardwood dining chairs. The seat of one has been recovered in light brown leather. The other seat is still in its original state. They could easily be covered in some matching fabric, but as they are, they don't look dramatically different.

Free: Coat Hangers (Harrogate HG1) Withdrawn Coat Hangers. Some covered. All suitable for clothing which would benefit from more careful hanging - these wider hangers, covered and uncovered, are far less likely to push the fabric out into a point at the shoulders/tops of sleeves.

Request: 2026 Wall Calendar (Harrogate HG1) Withdrawn 2026 Wall Calendar. If anyone has a spare one, would you consider freegling it to me, please? I'm looking for the type with a picture above and the monthly calendar grid below, for writing appointments etc in. I've added a picture of the kind of thing I'm after. Free: Bits of Felt (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Bits of Felt. Looks like the beginning of a small project, but no one can remember starting it. The paper templates may or may not be something to do with it, but I suspect they aren't connected. Nothing is stitched or glued. I just laid the little disks out on top of the uncut pieces for the photo.

Free: Hairdryer, working, but loose connection needs fixing (Harrogate HG1) Withdrawn Hairdryer. Brand: Remington. It works fine, except that there must be a loose connection somewhere because it stops, but then when you move the cable in a certain way, it starts again. I should think that someone who's good at tinkering with electrical devices would be able to sort the connection. There is an extra attachment to clip onto the hairdryer. I will add a photo when I find it.

Free: Sunflower 'Hidden Disability' Lanyard (Harrogate HG1) Withdrawn Lanyard with the sunflower logo to show that the wearer has a hidden disability. Free from Tesco, hence their logo. Mini carabiner-type clip on und for attaching name/info badge/key etc, if desired. I got it for someone who has replaced it with a more elaborate equivalent and so no longer needs this one.

Free: Umbrella (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Large, black umbrella. Works perfectly. Opens and closes fine. A bit bent at the top/spike end, but the umbrella seems to have completely survived whatever caused that. Surplus to requirements.

Free: Christmas Cachepot (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Apparently the name for a decorative plantpot into which 'one' puts another plantpot containing a plant is a 'cachepot', which I never knew, but it's a good name! This one is a Christmassy one, made of metal and has a removable (intact!) plastic liner (see photo).

Free: Deep Soft Feather Pillow (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Deep Soft Feather Pillow. Will go into a standard, i.e. rectangular pillow case. Has been in the family and in a smoke-free, pet-free home for years ... many years! The cotton casing is clean but slightly discoloured with age. A good pillow which is now surplus to requirements.
