Free: Hairdryer, working, but loose connection needs fixing (Harrogate HG1) Hairdryer. Brand: Remington. It works fine, except that there must be a loose connection somewhere because it stops, but then when you move the cable in a certain way, it starts again. I should think that someone who's good at tinkering with electrical devices would be able to sort the connection. There is an extra attachment to clip onto the hairdryer. I will add a photo when I find it.

Free: Umbrella (Harrogate HG1) Large, black umbrella. Works perfectly. Opens and closes fine. A bit bent at the top/spike end, but the umbrella seems to have completely survived whatever caused that. Surplus to requirements.

Free: Small houseplant (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Small succulant houseplant. Comes with the pot. It's in a tiny plantpot which is sitting in the ornamental pot. It would be grateful if someone could re-pot it and give it more space now that it's grown.

Free: Coffee bean (or other) grinder (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Coffee grinder. KRUPS brand. Has been used to grind coffee beans. Could be used to grind other things, e.g. seeds, oats, herbs, etc. Full working order. No longer used. Please note (see photo) worn edges of lid, worn through use - presumably from being battered by flying coffee beans. Lid is however still a good, firm fit.

Free: Old Wicker Chair (Harrogate HG1) Withdrawn Old wicker chair. Has been used as a garden chair but kept under cover when not in use. Is many decades old. Someone may wish to rejuvenate it. It still functions and is still safe to sit on, but I wouldn't like to say that its days are not numbered.

Free: Fitted Single Electric Blanket (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Fitted single electric blanket. Monogram model by Beurer. Made in Germany. 9 settings, including Eco. Separate settings for feet end and body area. Cable slid slightly out of the control unit a while ago, hence the black tape. Nothing was broken. Surplus to requirements.

Free: Solid Wood Double Bed (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Solid wood (pine?) double bed base. Accompanying/Matching solid wood (pine?) headboard (attaches with screws/detachable) The base is in two halves. These attach to each other with a metal hook and loop. One loop needs to be replaced (see photos), However, during all the years since another family member passed this bed on to us, we never got round to replacing the broken loop and the two halves of the bed always remained in place.

Free: Badminton Set (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Badminton Set. Level: Recreational (therefore designed for fun use by all ages, families, on the beach/in the park/garden, etc. At leats 15 years old, possibly getting on for 20. Brand: Wilson Contents: Net 4 rackets 3 shuttlecocks Pegs for securing guy ropes attached to poles Please note that this set is perfectly usable and has been used by our family up until recently. It is old, though, so a couple of the guy 'ropes' (strings) are a bit frayed, the bottom two poles have lost their spikes for pushing into the ground, but can still be pushed into the ground, and a couple of ground pegs have been replaced by old tent pegs, which actually do the job better.

Free: Tomato plants (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Tomato plants grown from seed by a friend. Supposed to be tumblers, but not showing signs of tumbling. Could do to be put in the ground or in soil in a greenhouse. I've transferred others from the same batch to a greenhouse and they have come on a lot. These poor things need the same. NB. They will not necessarily be in the same pots.

Free: Bag with Compartments (Harrogate HG1) Expired Thus bag with 3 compartments came with a portable DVD Player which has now died and gone for recycling. All intact with no holes. Neat and tidy. Basic, cheap synthetic fabric. Perhaps useful for storage or other purposes.

Free: Peace Lily plant, needs TLC (Harrogate HG1) Gifted Peace Lily. Not sure what I have done wrong but it was fine until I took over responsibility for it last November. I believe someone with the know-how will be able to revive it successfully. I have a garden bin but would rather try to find a better owner in the first instance. N.B. It will not come in the pot in the photo.

The strings must have been attached to a hook or maybe to a loop for hanging? This is now missing. Folds to be more compact for storage/travelling. Free: Vintage Jokari game (incomplete) (Harrogate HG1) Expired Two components of the cult and now vintage French outdoor game, Jokari. Needs the rubber ball and very strong elastic to attach to the 'rotating' attachment on the side of the wooden box.

Free: Marble pieces (Harrogate HG1) Expired Slab of marble 17mm thick, but which was knocked over from where it was propped up against a fence and so unfortunately shattered into these pieces. Smaller rectangular-ish piece of different marble, less colourful, 2cm thick. Both are grimy and will look better after a wash/scrub. N.B. Re- the photos, there are two of the larger slab, one of the pieces upside down and one with the more colourful side face up.
