Broken Salt/Pepper Grinder (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Expired
This is more of a "just in case", before I throw this away. The little metal knob on the top that allows you to adjust the fineness of the grind and that you unscrew to refill the grinder has snapped off (the photos with it attached are with it just balancing on the top, to show how it's meant to go). These are a pretty common, popular design so I thought I'd check that no one had a use for it as spare parts before I bin it. Or maybe someone could use it as an art project. It could even be repaired by sticking/soldering the knob back on but it's probably not worth it unless you like tinkering and fixing things!

Plastic Ice Cube Tray (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Expired
Solid plastic 21-cube tray. Barely used. I gave it a wash as it was a bit dusty, so it's clean. Handy to have an extra if you have any parties or gatherings coming up!

Sturdy Cardboard Hallowe'en Sweets Dispenser (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Gifted
This originally came from Marks&Spencer. The "mouth" pulls down at the front to allow access to the sweets. You can load the sweets the same way, or open up the top (which is currently taped down, you just unpeel the tape at the sides to open the top). The pumpkin stalk at the top is a kind of rubbery foam so quite easy to pick it up by that.

Glow-in-the-Dark Drinks Set (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Gifted
A plastic pitcher and two goblets, skull/skeleton themed and perfect for Hallowe'en! They're glow-in-the-dark. I gave them a wash to get rid of any dust, so any droplets you see on them are water, not bobbly plastic!

Computer Monitor, Repair or Spares (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Expired
Broken monitor which may be useful to someone who likes tinkering. The screen is fine, it's an electronic fault.

Working Digital Watch (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Gifted
A combined digital and analogue watch, the analogue bit has stopped working - the hands go round but they don't keep time. However, the digital side of things is fine. It has a solar panel at the top, like a calculator, so the battery should last a while! It's a bit worn, with the red surround having worn off to gold, but as there's nothing wrong with the function I thought someone might like it. It's waterproof (swimming, showers etc, maybe not deep-sea diving!) and has the usual functions: stopwatch, alarm, date, day of the week, backlight button, can be set to chime on the hour, can choose between 12 and 24 hour clock. It comes with the instruction leaflet, though it's pretty standard controls. Or someone might want to use it for parts to repair others!

Bugalugs Salmon Oil for Cats/Dogs (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Gifted
I bought this salmon oil supplement for my cat who, in true cat fashion, won't touch it half the time! Rather than keep trying until it goes out of date I'm offering it to someone else. It's a 500ml bottle and is nearly full. It's suitable for cats and dogs, with the recommended dosages written on the label. It has a pump dispenser to avoid mess. The best-before date is September this year, so it has a few more months.

Two Empty, Clean Black Lush Pots (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Gifted
I have a couple of the black Lush pots which you can return to the shop for a free facemask. You need to return five to get the facemask, and I think they've also introduced a scheme where you can return a pot and get 50p off your next purchase, so if anyone collects the pots and would like two more you're welcome to them.

Standard Lamp, "Fish Eye" bulbs (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Gifted
Tall, free-standing floor lamp. It's called "fish eye", I think referring to how the bulbs look in the sockets as the bulbs are just regular ones. It has three bulbs which have some limited movement to allow you to alter their direction. It plugs into a regular plug socket, and has an on/off switch as part of the cord that you can leave on the floor, allowing you to press it with your foot to turn it on and off. We've had this for several years and rarely use it so hopefully someone else will appreciate it. It comes with all three bulbs, which as you can see from the photo all work and are reasonably bright.

Pack of 4 Unused Screw Cap Lightbulbs (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Gifted
After having a couple of light fittings replaced we now have unneeded bulbs. These are 60 watt traditional lightbulbs with ES/E27 screw cap fittings. They're dimmable and would probably be good for a lamp too. A pack of four, new and still in the box.

Unused Energy-Saving Bayonet Lightbulbs x 2 (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Gifted
After having a couple of light fittings replaced we now have unneeded bulbs. These are 11 watt, equal to 60 watt, energy-saving non-dimmable 600 lumens bulbs with a B22 bayonet fitting. There are two, both new and in their packaging.

Energy-Saving Lightbulbs, Bayonet B22 (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Gifted
After having a couple of light fittings replaced we now have unneeded bulbs. These are 11 watt, equal to 60 watt, energy-saving non-dimmable 600 lumens bulbs with a B22 bayonet fitting. One is new in its packaging - the packaging has been cut open but the bulb hasn't been taken out. The other two bulbs came from our old light fitting so have been used, but since these bulbs literally last for years they still work and should have plenty of life left.

Large Sturdy Cardboard Box with Lid (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Gifted
This is about 86cm long, 43cm wide, and 34cm high. It has a separate cardboard lid that can be lifted on or off. It's strong and well-made, so seems a shame to chuck it if someone can make use out of it. You could make a small child's den/playhouse, or use it for storage - maybe spray paint it or cover it in coloured paper/découpage. It might be sturdy enough as a seat for a younger or lighter child, and you could store toys in it. Or you could hide your Christmas presents in it! It would be good for moving house or for storing lighter but bulky items, such as pillows and blankets. If no one wants it I'll put it out for recycling Tuesday night.

EMPTY Clear Glass Skull Bottle (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Gifted
I'm using a photo of the bottle from the Amazon page because it's easier, but the bottle is definitely empty :) It's a 500ml glass skull-shaped bottle, quite well-made and has the cork. The only markings are on the back, the front is plain. With Hallowe'en coming up I thought someone might want it before it goes to the bottle bank!

Working VAX Vacuum Cleaner for Hard Floors (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Gifted
This is a VAX Air Reach U90-MA-Re upright bagless vacuum cleaner. Unfortunately the beater brush/bar is broken, so it doesn't do as well on carpets - we have carpet plus pets so once the beater brush broke it didn't pick up as much from the carpet, though it still did a reasonable job. It works fine for hard floors such as tile, vinyl, wood, laminate etc as you don't need a beater bar for that so I thought I'd offer it to anyone who can make use out of it. I've included photos of the broken beater brushbar in case anyone wants to try to replace it. I've tried but unfortunately I've only found the grooved brushbar, and this is a toothed one! It comes with a crevice tool and an upholstery tool, which slot together so they can be clipped to the back of the vacuum for storage. The long handle detaches from the main body so you can attach it to the hose, allowing you to reach high areas like ceilings. I have the manual to go with it, too.

Lengths of Wood (Saint Thomas Ward EX2)
Gifted
Reasonable condition, I think they were salvaged from a past project and could easily be used again. They've been stored inside so no damp or rot. I think the wood is probably pine. If you want to know measurements just message me, I think they're probably about 50cm but that's just a rough guess as I didn't have a tape measure handy! I also have another piece of wood, thicker and maybe 2 metres long, if anyone's interested.
