Free: china and glass ornamental animals (Summertown OX2) Gifted The penguin and peacock are glass, the rest china. I collected these as a girl in the late 1960s/early 1970. Hippo, rabbit and tortoise families still perfect. Big Ears has lost a bit of paint on his shoe. Elephant on the back of the line has a bit off the bottom of one leg. The Bambi characters are oldest and have all got some damage, badly mended (although a friend who is handier than me says you can get it off and start again). The Lady and the Tramp family - Lady and Scamp are perfect But Tramp is missing a leg. Person who will take them all will get them - I can't throw even the damaged ones away!

Free: Hearing aid batteries (Summertown OX2) Gifted Size 13 for hearing aids. Have had to change my hearing aid and it has different batteries. 3 of the packets expire June 2025; 2 expire January 2026 and 9 expire December 2027.

Free: Chair/steps (Summertown OX2) Gifted This is a chair that turns into a three step 'ladder'. It is very sturdy. The chair is not lovely - but we have used it regularly when we have has a lot of people and it is fine with a cushion!

Free: Old Dyson (Summertown OX2) Gifted Faithful old Dyson. It works BUT it only has the main brush and a smaller brush (see pic) AND the cord has got twisted. Only the amount of cord you can see in the pic come out. You can see where it is twisted and if you had more agile fingers your might well be able to untwist it ....

Free: Encyclopaedia Brittannica (Summertown OX2) Gifted Full set. Love it, but we are desperate for the bookshelf space! They are heavy, you will need a car or several people/trips.

Free: bedside lamp (Summertown OX2) Gifted Working bedside lamp. Good light. Black wood frame, a bit bumped in places (see tear). White, slightly textured fabric around the sides, small tear (see pic).

Free: Draughtman's set of scales (Summertown OX2) Expired Draughtman's set of scales - these are in cardboard; so light and portable for my husband's uncle, who used them for over 30 years (he was a very neat man!!).

Free: bookcase (Summertown OX2) Gifted Bookcase bought in the 1980. Shelves are firm and sturdy - back board is hardboard and a little wobbly. It is 90cm high,69 wide and 23 deep. The shelves are fixed, they cannot be moved to change the height. The top 2 are 22.5cm deep -the bottom one is 29cm.

Free: chest of drawers (Summertown OX2) Gifted This chest of drawers is not lovely (though a little TLC would improve it) but it is very sturdy. It has been in the family for three generations - first bought in the early 1940s and has been well used (including our son's stickers, sorry!). It is 67cm high, 76cm wide and 46cm deep. The top drawer is 10cm deep - the other three are 15cm deep.

Free: Guillotine (Summertown OX2) Gifted This measures 55 cm x 17 cm. The handle is slightly bent, so you have to push a bit harder than if it wasn't - but it still cuts straight.

Free: Nokia phone charger (Summertown OX2) Expired What can I say? It's a charger for an old Nokia phone, details hopefully legible in photo.

Free: large curtain (Summertown OX2) Gifted This large, very colourful curtain is beautifully made - lined and possibly also insulated (it's very thick). We got it as a temporary measure to keep draughts out and it certainly did. It is 110cm long. The top end measures 200cm across - but the bottom is 395cm, so the top could be let out.

Free: Insulated mug (Summertown OX2) Gifted Insulated mug, made to look like a camera lens. Inside measures 10cm deep, 8cm across.

Free: bike seat (Summertown OX2) Gifted This is 26.5cm x 15.5cm. The pictures show all I know about it. Came off my husband's bike.

Free: mother and child lamp (Summertown OX2) Gifted We bought this quite a while ago, then changed the front room lighting and didn't use it. When I took the photo I tried it to see if it worked and it didn't - but it might be a fuse in the switch or a loose connection ... I am not at all competent with wires ... It could be worth taking if you are happy to fiddle with the electrics/plug/bulbs. It is 1m80cm high and the base (widest bit) is 27cm.

Free: mystery object (Summertown OX2) Gifted I have no idea what this is. It is a light, shallow basketty thing, 40 cm across.

Free: Salter balance scale (Summertown OX2) Gifted Bought this Salter balance scale in about 1972. It is cast iron with a brass pan and cast iron weights from 2lb to 1/4 oz. Used it constantly up to about 2000. It then spend time in the garage, because I wasn't willing to part with it. This was a mistake and it now needs tlc. Still accurate.

Free: 2 gate hinges (Summertown OX2) Gifted Very heavy and so sturdy. Never used.

Free: fish kettle (Summertown OX2) Gifted Stainless steel fish kettle for poaching fish. Used once, because I am hopeless at branching out with new menus! 51 cm long (including handles) x 12 cm high (includes lid handle. Inside lift out tray 43x13.5cm.

Free: bowl (Summertown OX2) Expired lovely hand-make bowl, bought at a craft fair in about 2000. 9 cm high, 30 cm across. Chip on top lip (see photo). Decorated with tomatoes and aubergines. Do look at the second picture to see how nice it is. Chip is small.

Free: tile 'picture' (Summertown OX2) Gifted Tiles, similar to those previously offered, but as a 48cmx17.5cm picture. The back is a bit manky (see pic). Can easily be dismantled to get out the 3 tiles that measure 10.5x15cm.

Free: wooden puzzle (Summertown OX2) Gifted Puzzle of the story of the princess and the pea: you have to stack the mattresses in the right order. Ruler to show size.

Free: 4 Spanish-style tiles (Summertown OX2) Gifted A friend gave me these to use in the kitchen; but I don't use them as much as they deserve. The are 15cm by 16.5cm each. One is damaged (see photo) and the bits are there. I would have tried to mend it, but I am rubbish and mending and feared I might do more harm than good!

Free: glass jars (Summertown OX2) Gifted Glass jars of various sizes - big ones had chickpeas in; rest tomato paste. Washed in dishwasher. Have too many of them for my pickling/jam needs!

Free: potato basket (Summertown OX2) Gifted Potato basket in wicker. Clean and usable, just doesn't fit in re-configured kitchen. 40.5cm high, 38cm at widest point.

Free: 2 'Contrast' cups (Summertown OX2) Gifted 2 Hornsea Pottery 'Contrast' cups - last of a set bought in 1970s. Perhaps someone less clumsy needs a couple spare?

Free: 4 Habitat cups (Summertown OX2) Gifted 4 white Habitat cups. We broke the saucers and have been using them as small mugs! 8cm high and 8.5cm across at the top.
