This is a little tub of so-called lifeboat matches, said to be windproof and waterproof ("will not blow out even in the strongest wind". Theoretically perfect for hiking expeditions. Rescued, unopened, from my late mother's house. She must have bought them a long time ago as there is a 01 London telephone number on the price label.
