Free: cuttings of elder tree / sambuca - likely rooted (Ramsgate CT11) The elder was pruned a couple of months ago - and 2 cuttings stuck in a pot. Since they're leafing out, I think they've rooted. Likely approx 2 ft tall. Could you re-home one or both?

Free: Scoby, To Make Kombucha (CT11) Gifted Kombucha is a great probiotic for your gut. [Could be prebiotic - look it up!] I make a strong mug of sweet black or green tea weekly. Drain off the finished kombucha into a bottle to drink during the week. I refill the jug of scoby with my diluted mug of sweet tea. That's it! I use 3 teaspoons of tea leaves [could be tea bags] to 60ish grms of sugar and approx 1ltr of tap water [boiling water in mug of tea, leave to stand for 30 mins, then dilute so it's cool for the scoby].

Free: 2 x phormium plants / New Zealand flax (CT11) Gifted 2 types of phormium - one is variegated green & cream - in the background. The other is more dark green. They're approx. 6ft / 2m tall. Apparently they can be used to make cord! RHS says "Phormium Common name: New Zealand Flax Phormiums are exotic-looking evergreen perennials. They offer striking, often highly-coloured sword-like leaves and slender flower spikes that rise above the foliage. While best grown in sunny borders and gravel gardens, they make great focal points in containers." They need to be planted soon!

Request: kilner jars or any other brand for bottling fruit (CT11) Expired Do you have any kilner-type jars cluttering up your space? My ideal jars would have a metal lid. [Apparently jam jars cannot be used to safely bottle. Who knew?!] And if you have the clip type, that too would be great. Free: Teasel Seedlings To Attract Goldfinches (CT11) Expired Want some teasel seedlings? You'll need to keep them watered in this heat - until established. Attract goldfinches to your garden - Scottish Wildlife Trust / If you'd like to attract these beautiful birds into your garden, you can plant one of their favourite foods, the teasel. Teasel plants are really great throughout the year, attracting insects with their purple flowers in the summer, and in the winter the seed heads dry out providing food for the goldfinch.
