Free: Armchair (Boxmoor, HP1) Sturdy, wooden framed armchair. I’d view this as a project, since: (i) it needs a new button sewn on the back to retain the cushion; a repair to the fabric on the seat; re-varnishing of the wood at the arms following the actions of an enthusiastic dog. (ii) it would benefit from re-upholstering to bring it from 1970 into the modern age.

Free: Micro scooter (Boxmoor, HP1) Expired This will suit the average-sized seven or eight-year-old. Well used but in decent nick - except for the fold-down mechanism, which seems to be locked in place.

Free: Large cage for rats (Boxmoor, HP1) Gifted I say cage, but really this is a rat PALACE. A rat experience. 5’ tall x 2’ wide/deep, 21st century small mammal living on five levels connected by ramps. Not all accessories will be included, though some will. Will throw in whatever rat food we have left too. 48 hours’ notice of collection required.

Free: Qualcast lawnmower (Boxmoor, HP1) Gifted Taking this would, frankly, be a gamble. It currently isn’t working. I suspect, however, that there is a wiring fault within the starter mechanism and if you possess the wherewithal to repair such things, you’ll have yourself a decent grass chopper.
