Free: mid-century modern parson's table (side table)--white Gifted This is a mid-century modern Parsons table, not an original but a good copy. I suppose it is technically Bauhaus, but they look very contemporary. Here's the Wikipedia Article on Parsons tables (If you aren't familiar with them, they were originally designed by Jean-Michele Frank and sold by Parsons Paris; the name has nothing to do with parsons the religious figures 8^) Anyhow, this one (as you can see) is in OK shape - sturdy and undamaged but honestly it should be fine sanded and repainted with white glossy paint--it has scratches and slight discolored parts. But it is usable as it is until you get around to it. 32" wide 22" deep 26" high Please tell when you could pick it up in your response. We're very near Forest Brook Road near Middlebrook Rd. Free: Neuton early battery mower - Germantown near Middlebrook Rd On offer is a Neuton electron battery powered mower. This is a very early model, but it works fine. Comes with a lock (really just a plug that you can hide if you're worried.) Has a lever to change the height which works very conveniently. Comes with a battery and charger. You can get a weed whipper to fasten on the front - you can *probably* find one on ebay or suchlike (they don't make them anymore). I had one but I broke it, but it was great. It looks like this: What's not great: The charger works but if you put it in wrong the light won't go on; double check. The battery works but is getting old. If you have a small yard the battery as it currently is will finish it. It looks like a special battery, but it's not - you unscrew the case and inside it are two batteries that plug in. You can buy them at Batteries Plus in Rockville or probably any battery store. If you come get it I'll let you mow my yard to try it out ;-) The clipping bag is a bit bent so it's a bit of a struggle to get it on. I usually use the mower without it to mulch the grass so I don't mind.
