Really useful for tallying up a bunch of receipts but will also work out VAT or other fixed percentage tax for you (there is an instruction book with it)

I used magnets to hold the notices in - they are the red circular things in the frame. Comes with screws but you will need to find new wall plugs

Or maybe you just like old fashioned tech This Salter Pocket balance may be just the thing. It is old and the scale is quite small but it says it will weigh anything you can hang on the hook up to 50lbs. It also has a kg scale up to 23kg. I have not tested it to check accuracy.

Useful in a one-to-one meeting or where there is a counter between you. It is designed to use an internal microphone but also comes with a small microphone and earphones if needed. We have used one with a PA system to make sure the main talk can be heard over other noises in the room.

Free: Creative computer / gaming 5:1 speaker system (West Bridgford NG2) Gifted Used Creative Inspire P580 5:1 sound system This has been tucked away for some time as I do not have the right sound card any more and am not getting a new one. Have tested all speakers using an aux input (which only gives front L & R and the bass) and they all worked. Comes with the cable to connect to a suitable sound card (3 x 3.5mm jacks) as well as the power supply and control switch.

This model is designed for you to sit on whilst you are working but you could probably clamp it to a work bench. Simple (and adjustable) clamp can holding different sizes of material. Only used once and I discovered it was not for me!

Free: Decorative family rules sign (West Bridgford NG2) Gifted Anyone interested in this sign? I measured it at about 97cm tall and 43cm wide (some of the rules stick out more than others). The second picture shows the back with a small chip of the paint at the top The 11 "rules" are "Smile", "Tell the truth", "Help each other", "Dream big", "Forgive & Forget", "say please and thank you", be happy", "say I love you", "hug often", "keep your promises" and "laugh out loud"
