Free: Vintage compact music system - Sanyo DCX W17 with CR17 CD p (West Bridgford NG2) Not used for years and is a little dusty but have tested all but the cassette players (as I no longer have any casettes) and it all seems to work. Dates back to a time when you had to fit your own 3-pin plugs and when our children enjoyed pulling at the stereo cables to make them into two separate wires! I out an extension cable on one of the speakers and have left it in place.

Free: Old 26" Samsung TV (West Bridgford NG2) Gifted Old TV left behind by a lodger. Cannot tune the TV (as we don't have an aerial) but was used as a computer / games monitor (has hdmi input) or playing back from dvd or similar

Free: Calculator with paper record - casio HR-150TER (West Bridgford NG2) Withdrawn Found on top of cupboard but still works. With power supply or runs off batteries. Really useful for tallying up a bunch of receipts but will also work out VAT or other fixed percentage tax for you (there is an instruction book with it)

Free: Lockable deed box / storage tin (West Bridgford NG2) Gifted The box is roughly 41 cm W x 28cm D x 25.5cm H Might suit as a low coffee table or footstool. The box dates back many years and used to live in a bank vault full of important papers. But they are all out of date now so the box is available to give away.

Free: External lockable notice board (West Bridgford NG2) Gifted Used to have this outside my office but no longer needed. It can contain a sheet of A3 (the green sheet is that size) or smaller. I used magnets to hold the notices in - they are the red circular things in the frame. Comes with screws but you will need to find new wall plugs

Free: Portable weighing scales (West Bridgford NG2) Gifted Do you need to be able to weigh something quickly all the time? Or maybe you just like old fashioned tech This Salter Pocket balance may be just the thing. It is old and the scale is quite small but it says it will weigh anything you can hang on the hook up to 50lbs. It also has a kg scale up to 23kg. I have not tested it to check accuracy.

Free: Portable "loop" hearing aid system (West Bridgford NG2) Gifted Humantechnik LA90 portable inductive loop This system produces a signal that can be heard on hearing aids with a T or loop setting to cut down ambient noise. Useful in a one-to-one meeting or where there is a counter between you. It is designed to use an internal microphone but also comes with a small microphone and earphones if needed. We have used one with a PA system to make sure the main talk can be heard over other noises in the room.

Free: Creative computer / gaming 5:1 speaker system (West Bridgford NG2) Gifted Used Creative Inspire P580 5:1 sound system This has been tucked away for some time as I do not have the right sound card any more and am not getting a new one. Have tested all speakers using an aux input (which only gives front L & R and the bass) and they all worked. Comes with the cable to connect to a suitable sound card (3 x 3.5mm jacks) as well as the power supply and control switch.
