WoolCool ‘slug repellant’ (Selly Oak)

I have several packets of WoolCool sheets. It’s used as insulation for pet food that arrives frozen. It can be reused for many purposes, eg safe bird nesting material, stuffing pet beds, needle felting, and you can also use it for insulating plants from cold weather and as a slug repellant (eg, cut a sheet and surround base of plant with it). Slugs can’t crawl over it because it dries them out.

Safe bird nesting wool (Selly Oak)

Birds are currently nest-building. ‘WoolCool’ pure clean wool is safe for birds to use as nesting material. Clean and chemical free. This is used as insulation for our cat’s fresh food which arrives frozen (fussy bugger) and it’s perfectly safe to use for bird nesting. The birds and even the squirrels take this. I just hook a chunk of it onto a branch (sheltered from the rain) so they can tease out the fibres. Has so many other uses too, eg filling for pet beds, warm insoles for wellies and boots, roll it up to make draught excluders, crafting, etc and I’m sure it probably has uses for gardening too. I have a few packs spare so reply if you’re not too far from Selly Oak and you’d like some :)

It’s bird nesting season. I have some packs of ‘WoolCool’ insulation material that is safe for birds to use as bird nesting material. It’s pure wool that’s clean and free of chemicals. Our garden birds love it and even the squirrels have taken some. I just hang a chunk onto a branch (sheltered from the rain) and they pull bits off it. If you’d like some and you’re not too far from Selly Oak let me know. I have a few packs. Has lots of other uses too, including being good for making boot and welly insoles out of :)

Green yarn - 80% wool/20% nylon. Great colour for Xmas or Easter decorations but definitely not suitable for garments as it’s VERY scratchy and feels like a scourer! Maybe suit a nursery or school for craft projects. Collection from Selly Oak asap please.
