Free: Delonghi HSX2320 2.0 kW Slim Convector Heater, almost new (Summertown OX2) Promised Delonghi HSX2320 2.0 kW Slim Convector Heater, bought early Feb 2025, used occasionally over seven weeks so in almost new condition. (One of the little feet cracked as we were attaching it but still works fine, and I'm including a pack of two new spare feet.) Looking for a quick collection before house clearance. Free: Berghaus "Freeflow" woman's rucksack 30+6 L, 11 yrs old (Oxford-Freegle CGA OX2) Good quality (though old) Berghaus rucksack with freeflow back system. Collect from Binsey village or Waterways. 30 litres or 36 with the side pockets full. A woman's size, ie shorter back, but the back adjustment is broken - see 4th photo - so only the longest back size is available (unless you fix the clip which selects the shorter sizes). Space for water bladder & opening for tube. Very useable - I last used it till a few weeks ago. I've used this since 2014 for multiple-day long-distance walks (though it's too small to carry tents etc). So it's been out in the sun a lot and the closure straps are sun-damaged. The fabric of the rucksack itself, the zips and the waist straps are still in great condition and the chest strap works (though part of the chest strap clip has snapped off). Rain cover included & contained in a pocket at the base of the rucksack. There's an inner flap which can be open or closed to give one big compartment or to split the main compartment into two smaller ones. Berghaus say they can't repair the straps as the back system gets in the way of their sewing machines. But I feel it has some life left in it if you have the patience to mend the straps which close the main compartment or just use it for single-day trips. Shoulder & waist straps - good condition, padded & very comfortable. Top pocket & zip - good condition. Main compartment good condition & straps currently work but look fragile or have been repaired. Side pockets & zips good condition. Outer mesh pocket & strap in reasonable condition. One compression straps for side pocket is broken & the other looks fragile. Non-structural loops for lifting rucksack (at top of pack) broken & one of two outer loops for attaching items to the outside of the bag - walking poles perhaps? - is broken. A bit of scuffing/small hole on the pocket containing the rain cover - see 5th photo. Collection only from OX2, 1 mile off the Botley Road, or from an address in Waterways, north Oxford. Free: large sturdy travel cot, additional mattress & protector (Oxford-Freegle CGA OX2) Gifted John Lewis travel cot with additional mattress, waterproof mattress protector & 1 sheet Bought end 2018 Very spacious & sturdy - still worked for our tall and solidly-built grandson till just before his 4th birthday Very early in its life, I broke one of the joints so there's a bit of a knack to putting it up and down now (which we can show you when you collect) but it doesn't affect the strength or stability of the cot once assembled and we've continued to use it for our grandchildren's visits for the past six years, and our daughter-in-law liked it so much she borrowed it to visit other family and friends. The mattress it's supplied with is quite thin so we bought an additional one to make it more comfortable (for fire labels see photo). This extra mattress doesn't pack away into the bag. Request: child 3-wheel scooter age 5-10 in working condition, Oxford (Wytham OX2) Expired A bit of a long shot I realise. Our grandchildren will visit soon from overseas and one of the second-hand scooters we have for them to use here stopped working on their last visit. I've replied to lots of sale ads with no success and now family issues are reducing the time I have for the search, so I thought I'd try on here. If anyone inside or not too far outside the Oxford ring road has a 3-wheel scooter for age 5-10, in good working condition, which they're willing to pass on, I'd love to hear from you. Thank you
