Metal 'double' bed with futon (Loughborough Junction SE5.)

The bed and futon, both imperial 4' 6" x 6' 3", are now dismantled or rolled up for ease of storage and transport and offered together as a job lot. The bed frame is cream painted metal with round knobs on the corner posts and a base of wooden slats. The futon, in blue check pattern, has mainly been kept between the slats and a mattress – not slept on directly. It could be used on its own as a mattress for the bed. Approx. metric dimensions Bed: head 1145mm x 1390mm, foot 855mm x 1390mm, side rails 1930mm long, pinewood slats now rolled up – 1370mm x 200mm x 180mm. Futon: 1360mm x 1895mm now rolled up 1360mm x 435mm x 435mm. Platform height: 400mm. Bolt and nuts are supplied for assembly using a 4mm Allen key and 10mm spanner. The whole lot should be fairly easy to transport in a car or van or on a roof rack. We can't deliver but can help carry everything out of the house.

Both are double size – 4' 6" x 6' 3" – the mattress with coil springs and memory foam top layer, the futon with cotton fibre filling and cotton cover. Mattress about 10 years old, regularly flipped and rotated, light use – only one sleeper – and no stains or marks. Futon, same age, but kept under the mattress – not slept on directly.
