Request: old telphones (Harbourland ME14) Hello, I have decided to introduce the concept of 'History' to my young class of special needs children through telephones, as I think I will be able to show quite a dramatic change over time with real artefacts that will intrigue them! So I wonder if any kind freeglers happen to have any old telephones that they would like to donate to me please? I would love to show them an old rotary style one, or even one like Mr Banks had in 'Mary Poppins'? Perhaps I can find an early mobile phone too? They don't need to be in working order. As I finish for summer soon, I will be able to collect at a time to suit you. Thank you for reading. Kind regards,
Request: 3 little pigs (Harbourland ME14) Expired I wonder whether anyone local to Maidstone has a copy of 'the 3 little pigs" that I could have for school please? I have just looked through all the children's books in Maidstone library and couldn't find a copy! Thank you!

Request: Items for school (Harbourland ME14) Received Hi all, I work at a new special school in Maidstone. As we only opened in September, we are just starting to slowly build up resources to use with the children. Before the holiday, we opened our newly decorated reading room, so we would really appreciate any donations of children's books in good condition, as well as any toys that relate to children's books (for example Gruffalo / Julia Donaldson characters). If anyone has any really large teddies in good condition that the children can cuddle up to to read with, we would be thrilled to receive these too. For my classroom, I am looking for toys to develop fine motor skills, such as threading toys. As I am on holiday for a couple of weeks I can collect at a time to suit you. Thank you in anticipation! Kind regards
