Free: "Steam Railway" magazines (Dunfermline KY12) Three years of issues August 2020–August 2023, 85% complete. Good for pictures, even if the technology doesn't turn you on! If you're interested, let me know before Friday, when they'll be going in the bucket.

Free: Laminate tiles suitable for kitchen (~8sq.m) (Dunfermline KY12) Gifted We've just taken up our 2009 kitchen floor (to deal with some old water damage and get access for under-floor insulation) and I saved the tiles from the skip in case they can be re-used. The tiles are Quick-Step Quadra interlocking tiles just over 15in square (see the pictures) and charcoal grey with lighter grey flecks. 46 tiles are fine (though the surface has obviously been moderately used); a further 12 have slightly damaged tongues, but should still link; plus there is a whole load of edging pieces that aren't whole tiles. Overall you'd be able to cover 7sq.m. easily and probably more than 9sq.m. With a recycling site due to be on strike next week, I'd like these spoken for (if not actually uplifted) by midday next Tuesday 13 August.

Free: Single bed with sturdy metal frame (Dunfermline KY12) Gifted Modular construction single bed with tubular headboard and footboard, complete with Simmons Memorysleep mattress. Metallic grey finish with light-coloured wood tube closures. Overall dimensions: 107cm wide × 205cm long; 106cm max height headboard; 72cm max height foot board. Mattress is standard single 190cm by 90cm and fairly firm but comfortable. Robust construction, but only needs one Allen key to assemble – I've included pictures of the build to illustrate the construction. Used regularly when new (early 2000s?), but has been in various lofts for years, so there are some marks from stour on the mattress, but no liquid soiling, and some light marking on the metalwork, but no scratches. Lots of life left in the mattress, so I'm looking for someone who is happy to use the bed as it is.

Free: HP tower computer (Dunfermline KY12) Gifted From about 2009 - was running on Windows XP until switched off about five years ago. Two hard drives (250G and 1TB). Just nuking the system to remove confidential stuff before ditching, but wondered whether there’s an experimenter out there who might be interested to install Linux.
