Free: Yamaha Clarinova CLP-280 electronic piano keyboard (Hove Park area BN3) Gifted From my son as he's upgraded. As far as I know all keys are working. 125 cm long x 46 cm deep, with stand, pedal assembly and score-sheet holder. Note: quite heavy, the keyboard alone weighs about 26 kg. The screws for assembling the stand are missing, but the unit can be used on a tabletop. 13A plug. No instructions but I'm sure these can be downloaded. Has various play options like piano, organ, etc.

Free: Xmas tree stand or parasol holder (Hove Park area BN3) 46cm diameter base, 18 cm high. Not weighted, but was used outdoors under table with centre hole to hold a parasol. Intended use is to hold a Christmas Tree indoors.

Request: Small offcut of artificial grass (~ 1 m square) (Hove Park area BN3) Withdrawn Small offcut of artificial grass about one metre square. I did respond to another Brighton Freegler recently who was offering this, but my response has not been picked up. I suspect it has gone to Spam which often happens if you (like me) use Yahoo mail. I was the only person who responded.

Free: Single impeller shower pump (Hove Park area BN3) Expired Quite old twin-impeller shower pump where one side has stopped working, suspect impeller has stopped rotating. So I've just replaced this with a new one. However, the other side still works fine if you want a single-impeller pump this should be fine. 230V 1.5A IPX2. Takes 1/2 inch flexible couplings which I can supply if needed.

Free: Very large portfolio binder almost 100 years old (Hove Park area BN3) Gifted Leathercloth bound card folder 18" (46 cm) x 22" (56 cm) high with strong steel clip to hold contents. Weight 3.4 kg. Used to hold architectural documents when my father was a student of architecture in London Uni., circa 1930. Second photo is internal label by seller.

Free: Vintage Suitcase 1939 or earlier Brown Suitcase Hard Luggage (Hove Park area BN3) Gifted 1939 vintage or earlier. Made in Manchester by Kendal Milne & Co. Leather handle and reinforced edges and corners. Weighs 3 kg. Dimensions 55 x 38 x 19 cm. COLLECTORS ITEM. This I believe was used by a relative when she left England at the start of WW2 in Oct 1939 for Australia. She returned to England across the Atlantic in 1942, and the suitcase has been in the family ever since. The suitcase is still usable but well worn, the fittings a bit rusty, and the key has been lost. If you ask for this, please check your SPAM emails for my reply, as that is where they often go!

Free: Anton Sprint eVo Flue Gas Analyser (Hove Park area BN3) Gifted Found abandoned in a tenanted house. No idea if it works. Complete kit used to cost over £500, see last picture. No charger or other parts. Calibration seal is intact.

Free: Thermostatic shower unit (leaks and scaled) (Hove Park area BN3) Gifted Just replaced with an almost identical new one. My son (user) reports that it leaked mainly from the main thermostatic valve assembly. It looks like the rubber seals were leaking which can easily be replaced. I suggest the whole unit is dismantled and descaled by soaking in vinegar, then any perished rubber seals replaced, and then the unit should be as good as new. The thermostatic part works well, so the leaks and scale were the only reason for replacing it. You will obviously need a few tools like adjustable spanners and hexagon (Allen) keys. I can email you the assembly instructions from the new (almost identical) unit (from which the last image came (schematic).

Free: Delonghi Nespresso Inissia coffee machine not working (Hove Park area BN3) Expired Boxed. Found when emptying a tenanted flat. Searched for instructions "How to use the Nespresso Inissia for the first time or after a long period of non use". Followed internet instructions, but coffee maker does not produce hot water into a cup, so suspect either internal pump or heater may have failed. Note it takes special capsules of coffee, not included (except 1 found in bin). Seems a pity to bin it if someone is willing to fix it.

Free: HP LaserJet 4 laser printer B&W problem with cartridge (Hove Park area BN3) Expired Bought second hand many years ago for domestic use, so only used once or twice a week. I kept a spare new cartridge. Today the old one has run out of toner, so I put the new cartridge in, but it does not work, makes a clicking sound. If I put the old one back it works, but the printed output is very faint as I think there is no toner left. I guess solution is to buy a new or reconditioned cartridge. So I'm giving it away on this basis. This comes with a USB to parallel port adaptor. You will need to download a driver. Also comes with mains lead. Update: a friendly Freegler has suggested the plastic strip was not pulled out, but it has. I suspect the "new" cartridge may be faulty as stored for a long time. If you are very careful, in theory you can take the toner out of the new cartridge and put it in the old, but do it outdoors as can be very messy.
