Digital watch (Southdown AL5)
Casio F-91W - This is a classic, I'm told, but the one I have has seen plenty of wear. The buttons are fiddly and you need to be comfortable with digital gadgets in order to set the time or use the alarm or stopwatch functions. But it seems to keep quite good time, and had a new battery just a few months ago. NB I'm tied up most of Saturday, and I want to give an equal chance to people who only get Freegle updates every 24 hours, so I won't reply to any respondents until Sunday afternoon. Please say when you could pick up, and why you think you deserve to be the lucky winner! Instructions here:

Swatch quartz analogue calendar watch. About 30 years old but still keeps good time. Since this may be popular I won’t acknowledge offers or choose the lucky person until Sunday afternoon. Covid tests - expired (Southdown AL5)
Expired
I have 3 packs, one with an expiry date of Oct23 and the other two Dec23, hence less than a year out of date, so hopefully will still give reasonably reliable results, though I’d advise getting a new pack if you need to be sure. One pack of 7 tests per respondent, unless you have a convincing reason for needing 2 or 3 packs, or unless I have less than 3 replies. (NB I will give you my full address only after agreeing a firm pick-up time. I find this necessary in order to discourage no-shows.)

Colour print film (expired) (Southdown AL5)
Expired
This colour print film has been knocking around for years and so is well out of date. Nevertheless, you might like to give it to the kids for a bit of fun, if you have a 35mm film camera. It’s 24 exposures, 200iso. (Please note: I’ll only give my full address once we’ve agreed a firm pick-up time. I find this necessary in order to discourage no-shows.)

Cherry tomato plants (Southdown AL5)
Gifted
I have 3 Sungold (ripen to orange) and 3 Sweet Aperitif, both varieties as sweet as any you'll ever taste. Kids love them! But they need growbags to get a decent crop. These have been popular in previous years, so assuming I get 2 or more offers, 2 peope can have two of one variety and one of the other. Since some people only get daily digests from Freegle, to make it fair I won't acknowledge or reply to any offers until Friday evening. If you state why you think you're deserving, I'll take that into account if I get 3 or more offers. Please suggest several days/times when you can collect.

Strimmer (Southdown AL5)
Gifted
Bosch basic model - no auto-feed. I got fed up with this as I seemed to spend as much time manually feeding the line as strimming. Please give 2 or 3 days and times when you could definitely collect. (If you don’t, don’t expect to hear back from me.)

Free:
13A fuses (Southdown AL5)
Gifted
A bag of approx 35 Standard BS1362 13A plug fuses, tested, taken from equipment on PAT testing which should have had 3A or 5A fuses. Can anyone use these?

Free:
Renal cat food (Southdown AL5)
Gifted
10 tins of Royal Canin renal cat food. This may be recommended by your vet if your cat (particularly neutered males) has a history of problems in there waterworks department. Our cat (sadly now departed, though not as a result of a renal problem) being a fussy eater, wouldn’t touch it. Please note: the date on these tins (presumably best before) is 2021, but tins normally keep pretty much for ever. Nevertheless, you feed these to your cat at your own risk.

Free:
Halogen tube 150W (Southdown AL5)
Gifted
240v 150W 80mm in length - unused. This is the sort commonly used in pre-LED security lights. This has been in the garage as a spare for a fair few years. I have a second one from our security light which stopped working recently. Some years old but it still seems to be good for a bit more service.

Request:
Cat litter tray (Southdown AL5)
Received
We've had our cat litter tray since Mog was a kitten 19 years ago. Little used until recent months, it's cracking up and held togetther with gaffer tape. Sadly, we'll maybe not need it for too many more months so hardly worth buying a new one. If anyone has one they no longer need and taking up space, Mog would appreciate it. Ours it 12x16" (30x40cm) - similar size needed to fit in the corner by the fridge. Probably not worth my while coming further from Harpenden that New Greens, Bernard's Heath or Marshalswick. Please say which days or times of day would be good to collect.

Sugru - for school Design & Tech dept only (Southdown AL5)
Gifted
Sugru is an incredibly versatile silicone putty which sets to silicone rubber. See sugru.com for lots of creative ideas for using it. I have enough sachets for a Design and Tech class (or similar) of 32, short dated (needs to be used within 6 months or so) and sadly only in black. This offer is not open to private individuals. If you would like it for your school, reply to this post and I will then ask you to email me from your official school email address. (A few months ago Sugru moved from using their own sales channel to using Amazon, and in the process had stock they needed to shift. They donated this to The Restart Project, with which I volunteer, in order to distribute to useful and worthy causes.)

Tomato plants (Southdown AL5)
Gifted
Sungold cherry tomatos - ripen to orange - one of the sweetest varieties you'll ever taste. I have 5, and to spread the joy, I'll split them 3 and 2 plus a stunted one which you might be able to coax into life. They need a grow bag or a large pot of good potting compost. Fair offer policy applies. NB Read carefully: In previous years these have proved popular, so to give an equal chance to deserving people who have better things to do than to constantly watch their email, I won't respond to ANY offers before 6pm tomorrow, Wed 21st June. Please say why you think you're deserving and when you could collect in the next 2-3 days.

Request:
2-way telephone splitter (Southdown AL5)
Received
Anyone got one of these spare, allowing you to plug 2 phones (*not* a phone and a modem) into one phone socket? I need one to help out an elderly lady so she can have a cordless phone upstairs. Of course I could get one online for £2.50, or at any of the big DIY stores if I didn't mind spending perhaps the same again on petrol, but I can't believe I haven't got one in a box somewhere. For the above reasons, please don't bother to reply if you live more than a mile (or two) from Southdown.
