Free: Plastic compost bins (Sharmans Cross B91) Gifted On offer are enough parts to make the finished bin as seen in the picture (which was taken from the original supplier) and in fact an extension kit which would make it into two bins. But this comes with a caveat! Firstly, I have used these parts and they have been assembled into a double bin so they’re not in pristine condition but I have washed them down to get the worst off! Secondly although they were assembled and some very good compost was made I found it very hard to assemble them in such a way that they didn’t lean. This meant unfortunately they lent into my fence so had to come down. I think the issue is I just didn’t assemble it correctly. There are metal rods (to the left of the picture) that you put in the ground first over which you put the pillars. If these metal rods aren’t straight and aren’t measured correctly in terms of spacing then the whole thing becomes unstable so I think it was mostly user error. But I’ve tried again and I’m finding it very hard to make it sufficiently stable. But if that’s more your thing in terms of accurately being able to build something and you need a compost bin, then these may well suit. In terms of sizing they are 80 cm tall, and 80cm wide and deep.

Free: A Hanimex La Ronde slide projector (Sharmans Cross B91) Gifted This is a slide projector, probably 30/40 years old. I don’t know that it’s fully working but certainly the light and power comes on when plugged in. Comes in the original box with instructions. Also available around a dozen roundels into which you put the slides. If anybody wants it for spares or just for its vintage look, it will save it from landfill.
