Request: Bookcase (Lewes BN7) Needs to be 60cm wide, about 30cm deep and about 120cm tall. Wood preferable to be painted but not essential.

Free: Used bags for mailing (Lewes BN7) A mixture of Joffy, waterproof and stiff card envelopes. All used and some covered in print so will need labels. I can sort and count if anyone is interested or just come and take what you want.

Free: Rotting railway sleepers (Lewes BN7) Withdrawn Is it silly to offer these? But maybe someone would like even one or two as a home for beetles and other beasties. Or to compost? OR?Cut to a sensible size to move (ready to be taken to the tip). They've been in the ground for 20+ years and have just been replaced. I don't think the way they are now stacked in the photo shows how rotten they are.

Free: Heavy duty plastic tape with holes (Lewes BN7) Gifted Sourced from America to repair my automatic curtain rail. Tape is 1.1cm wide and the holes are .5cm (5mm). New, as purchased. I’d love someone to find a use for it!

Free: Plants, all hardy (Lewes BN7) Gifted Ophiopogon (short black grass); periwinkle; ground cover (yellow variegated lamia and purple-leaves ajuga); epimedium (cream flowers). Plus all sorts. We go round the garden to see what you would like and di it out fresh. Except for the black grass which is dug out ready for collection any time. Please only reply if you intend to collect.

Free: Lightweight folding wheelbarrow frame (Lewes BN7) Gifted The frame is good and strong but the fabric on this fab barrow has finally collapsed. I have identified replacement fabric - garden membrane, only about £1.49 metre at garden centres, but I can't make a replacement and it's too expensive to have it done by a professional. It just needs someone who can make a pattern from the existing, and has the sewing machine and hand strength to to make the 'tray' and attach it to the frame. I can't bear to throw the frame away so am crossing fingers. Grace

Free: Cactus pieces (Lewes BN7) Expired This was a big plant which in the end I had to repot so one pic shows it now. In the process lots of small pieces dropped off. My plant started in this way, from a tiny piece. I haven’t counted the number of pieces but maybe they would be good for a school project. I’ll count them off a teacher asks me to.

Free: Ophiopogon - short black grass (Lewes BN7) Expired Very hardy - seems to cope with any conditions. Make a splendid border. I have several plants in individual pots and lots more I could dig out. Also other plants, especially Feverfiew, and various other bits. Free: Cornus 'Winter Fire' (Lewes BN7) Expired I have a few small rooted pieces needing a new home. It will grow quickly. Look up in Images if you don't know this plant - beautiful winter colour. Collection ideally any time after 9am on Wednesday 12th. Friday is also possible and Sunday afternoon.

Free: Gorgeous shoe boxes (Lewes BN7) Gifted Strong, perfect condition, different colours and sizes. The largest (turquoise one) is approx 30l x 23w x 14.5d Perfect for packing gifts.

Free: Chocolate mint . (Lewes BN7) Gifted This is very strong and healthy. In the ground it spreads rapidly and the roots, which are sprouting will form a nice clump next year.! Free: Yellow flowered hardy plants (Lewes BN7) Gifted Yellow iris, don't know what type and didn't think they were flag irises but digging them out we found rhizomes. Tall, very tough and spreading. Could they be wild iris? Variegated lamia, energetic ground cover. Winter-flowering jasmime, with roots or prunings that will root easily. To collect Monday 11th afternoon or Sunday 17th. If you reply please tell me then when you'd like to come.

Free: Hollyhock seeds (Lewes BN7) Gifted Masses of them, enough for everybody. They come from plants that change colour every year !! from very dark to deep pink.

Free: Compost bags (Lewes BN7) Gifted Different sizes, maybe around 8-10. One or two are big bird seed bags so very strong. I can leave them by my front door for collection at an agreed approximate time .
