Free:
Sheets of wool wadding (hh) (Haywards Heath RH16)
Gifted
Lengths of wool wadding. The wrappers say it’s wool, & I believe the wrappers! There are 9 sheets, each measuring 1metre16cm by 28cm, & all are still wrapped and clean. They came as insulation/protection in boxes of posh dog food (that’s posh food, not necessarily for posh dogs!). Wrappers say it’s fully compostable, but it looks & feels too nice to put in the bin. Someone has used this sort of stuff to insulate their shed, someone else cuts it into strips & puts it around plants to protect them from slugs. If you want this lovely cosy stuff, or some of it, please leave a contact number so we can arrange collection (Ashenground Road area).

She’s hoping for one that’s about 75cm high & 75cm across. Thank you…in hope.

These trousers are size 18R. They have a zip front, & as I hope you can see from one of the photos, 2 side pockets and 2 ‘non pockets’ at the back (i.e. it LOOKS as though there are 2 at the back, but there’s no pocket there!) Free:
hooks! (Haywards Heath RH16)
Gifted
My sister bought these from Temu….not sure why as she finds she doesn’t want them after all…but THAT means they are now available to anyone who finds they want to hang things up, but hasn’t got anything to hang them from. Such a dilemma! They’re probably meant to hang from a shower screen. Or something. If interested please say when you can collect (Ashenground Road area)

Free:
Craft magazines (Haywards Heath RH16)
Three CREATIVITY magazines from Docraft. There’s one each from 2011, 2012 and 2013, and while they ARE old, they still have plenty of ideas to inspire you today! There may be a few little bits missing…after all, they’ve passed through a few crafters’ hands over the last 10years or so…but very few. Can be left outside (under cover!) if you let me know what day you will be collecting them.

Decorative item. Any takers? Collection from the Ashenground Road area.

Free:
Black backpack (hh) (Haywards Heath RH16)
Gifted
Backpack, in quite good condition. I only say ‘quite’ because the main zip has lost it ‘pulling’ tag & tassel, and the tassel has come off another zip, but 2 of the detached tassels are in one of the pockets, so could be re-attached if wanted. The rest of the bag is fine. Any takers? If so, please give a name & say when you can collect (Ashenground Road area).

Free:
Scented Candle (Haywards Heath RH16)
Gifted
Unused (still scented) candle from Wickford & Co . The label states: “White Chocolate scented candle”, “luxury fragrance for the home”, and “burns up to 95 hours”. The candle is in pristine condition, and once it has been burned (it lasts up to 95 hours, don’t forget!) you will have a lovely decorative jar, with an airtight seal, in which you can store anything you choose, having enjoyed at least 95 hours of a home filled with a luxury fragrance. How can you resist? For collection from the Ashenground Road area.

Free:
Safety Scissors (Haywards Heath RH16)
Four pairs of scissors, suitable for children’s use. They’re ‘suitable’ because of the rounded ends, and they do cut ok…I just tried them out on some paper. If interested, please say when you can collect (Ashenground Road area). Thank you.

Free:
Five candles (not four!) (Haywards Heath RH16)
Gifted
Five previously scented candles, 5cm high, unused and still wrapped. I say “previously scented“ because they have been around for a while and the scent, while still pleasant, is very faint & indeterminate. Collection from Ashenground Road area.

Free:
Mini Twistable wax crayons (Haywards Heath RH16)

Natural wadding (Haywards Heath RH16)
Withdrawn
Lengths of cosy wool wadding...the wrapper says it is wool, and of course I believe the wrapper! There are 9 pieces, all still wrapped and clean, each measuring 28cm by 1m16cm. They came as insulation/protection in boxes of posh dog food (posh food, not necessarily for posh dogs!). The wrapper says the wool is compostable, but it looks and feels too nice to put in the bin. I know that someone used this sort of stuff to insulate a shed, someone else cuts it into strips & uses it to protect their plants from slugs. If you're interested in having this lovely cosy stuff, please say when you can collect &/or leave a contact number so we can arrange collection (Ashenground Road area). Better not suggest any more ways of using it though, 'cos I might decide to keep it after all. 🤣

Jewellery Making Magazines (hh) (Haywards Heath RH16)
Gifted
These magazines are over 10years old, but the techniques are probably much the same & styles and colours can be adapted to suit....not that the designs look at all dated. When I have finished browsing through them, there will be more editions available (nothing more recent though). If interested please say when you can collect (Haywards Heath, Ashenground Road area).

Water-fillable-squeegee. Spongey bit one side, rubbery scrapy thing the other side & a spray thing down the middle. Useful for when you go out to your car to find sticky honeydew or sand blown over from the Sahara Desert has rained down on your car windows, as has happened to me recently. Except I can’t be SURE where the sand came from, of course. Collection from Ashenground Road area...please say when. Thank you.

Teddy Thor (Haywards Heath RH16)
Gifted
Thor from Marvel Comics wishes to find a new home with a nice peaceful family....if there is one about who would be ready to take on a retired hero. He's fed up with whacking trolls & giants with his big hammer, and wants to live a new and peaceful life. Sad to say, his costume is not in perfect condition...& the handle of his hammer needed a few stitches. It must be from all those battles he had to fight! He hopes to find a place that’s rent free. If you know of such a home, please say when you can collect him (Ashenground Road area). Thank you. (Pssst....it’s not the real Thor...he’s just a teddy dressed up!)

Free:
Leo the Loveable Lion (Haywards Heath RH16)
Gifted
Leo is a tame, loveable, lost & lonely lion. He has just been turfed out of his home of many years (where he lived 24 hours a day in a cupboard, I believe, so it wasn’t exactly like living at The Ritz!) and is looking for a new home where his magnificent lion-ness will be appreciated. He does have a fairly solemn expression on his face, but that is because he is a lion who thinks deeply about the big issues of life, and anyway, who wouldn’t look slightly sad if they’d spent their life in a cupboard with nothing to do? He is clean, 12inches tall as he sits (about 13inches if you want to gel his mane), nicely fluffy and is perfectly house-trained. He is hoping for a new owner who will make sure that he is going to be loved and given a full, rich and enriching (for others) life. If interested in giving Leo a new home, please tell me something about why you want him, and when you would hope to collect him (Ashenground Road area) Thank you. Fair Policy thigummybob (can’t remember its proper name!) will apply.
