Free: Squeegee (Haywards Heath RH16) Promised Water-fillable-squeegee. Spongey bit one side, rubbery scrapy thing the other side & a spray thing down the middle. Useful for when you go out to your car to find sticky honeydew or sand blown over from the Sahara Desert has rained down on your car windows, as has happened to me recently. Except I can’t be SURE where the sand came from, of course. Collection from Ashenground Road area...please say when. Thank you.

Request: A Bucket or a POT (Haywards Heath RH16) METAL, PLASTIC, RESIN, ANY MATERIAL OR STYLE CONSIDERED. The picture is just to fill the space! I’m asking for a friend: Please, does anyone have a bucket or pot with no holes in (apart from the opening at the top, of course😆) that she could use for a water feature she’s planning on installing (or having installed!) She’s hoping for one that’s about 75cm high & 75cm across. Thank you...in hope.

Free: Teddy Thor (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted Thor from Marvel Comics wishes to find a new home with a nice peaceful family....if there is one about who would be ready to take on a retired hero. He's fed up with whacking trolls & giants with his big hammer, and wants to live a new and peaceful life. Sad to say, his costume is not in perfect condition...& the handle of his hammer needed a few stitches. It must be from all those battles he had to fight! He hopes to find a place that’s rent free. If you know of such a home, please say when you can collect him (Ashenground Road area). Thank you. (Pssst....it’s not the real Thor...he’s just a teddy dressed up!)

Free: Leo the Loveable Lion (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted Leo is a tame, loveable, lost & lonely lion. He has just been turfed out of his home of many years (where he lived 24 hours a day in a cupboard, I believe, so it wasn’t exactly like living at The Ritz!) and is looking for a new home where his magnificent lion-ness will be appreciated. He does have a fairly solemn expression on his face, but that is because he is a lion who thinks deeply about the big issues of life, and anyway, who wouldn’t look slightly sad if they’d spent their life in a cupboard with nothing to do? He is clean, 12inches tall as he sits (about 13inches if you want to gel his mane), nicely fluffy and is perfectly house-trained. He is hoping for a new owner who will make sure that he is going to be loved and given a full, rich and enriching (for others) life. If interested in giving Leo a new home, please tell me something about why you want him, and when you would hope to collect him (Ashenground Road area) Thank you. Fair Policy thigummybob (can’t remember its proper name!) will apply.

Free: Beech tree seedling (Haywards Heath RH16) Promised Does anyone want a beech tree seedling? Let me know if you do, & I will see if the one that’s taken up residence in my garden is ‘dig uppable’. Otherwise it will be consigned to the Council Compost Heap. 😄 Collection (if it is dig uppable!) will be from the Ashenground Road area. Thank you😁

Free: Set of board games (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted Cloister Games - a boxed set of four “illuminated medieval board games”, complete with rules (which is helpful!). The games are in perfect condition, the box almost so, with a couple of barely noticeable marks on the lid. Any people or groups of people out there who would like to own this collection of unusual games? Collection from Ashenground Road area.

Free: Glass trinket pot (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted Small glass pot 8/9 cm high by 8/9cm across. There are a few nicks around the rim of the lid, but it’s still a pretty little object. There’s an M&S sticker on the base that suggests it is a candle holder, but it looks to me more like a trinket pot! Whatever you want to use it as, if you would like it, please say when you can collect (Ashenground Road area).

Free: Friendly Farmyard Puppet (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted Would anyone like to give this friendly animal a new home and a purpose in life? He (or it might be a she) has been lodging with me for many years, doing absolutely nothing. She (or it may be a he) says, “I’m one of those puppets where you put your arm up through my body section, and into my head, so you can make my head and mouth move. I have lost one eye, but it is probably replaceable. I have been living with this woman for many years, mostly inside a drawer, with an occasional trip outside...outside of the drawer that is... but what I REALLY want to do is find a new role in life, maybe as an entertainer, where I can achieve my full potential.” So there you are, folks. Would anyone like to help this poor creature find their true role in life? Please?

Free: Baseball hat (Haywards Heath RH16) Withdrawn One-size (it says on the label) adult’s grey baseball cap, from M&S (it also says on the label). The picture isn’t very good because I had no-one to model it & the sun kept shining all over the place, and I was in a rush, but the hat is plain grey and in perfect condition. If interested please say when you can collect (Ashenground Road area).

Free: bats! (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted These bats have a mesh area for whacking whatever you’re whacking, so you’ll need to whack something soft, like a small sponge ball or a rolled up sock. That means, of course, that this could be a good game for children in the garden or elsewhere.... no injuries or broken windows. And if the sock-ball goes over the fence or gets stuck up a tree, you can easily replace it. So there’s another advantage...you can now use up those odd socks you’ve got hanging about! If you want these amazing play items, please let me know, and say when you can collect them. Ashenground Road area.

Request: Tea urn (bh) (Haywards Heath RH16) Does anyone have, or have access to, a tea urn that they (or whoever) no longer want, please? We’re hoping to get one that we can use for melting a quantity of wax, so it will need to be in working order and also have a concealed heating element. We’d be very grateful & it would be put to very good use. Thank you.

Free: MORE Grape Hyacinth Bulbs! (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted I’ve just dug up even MORE of these bulbs! Any takers? It seems a shame to put them in the green bin, which is due to be emptied next Tuesday. Better get in quick!😄 Collection from Ashenground Road area

Free: Plants (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted I have at last got round to doing a bit of gardening and there are a few bits I want to get rid of. There are grape hyacinth bulbs mixed in with a few bluebell bulbs (their bulbs all look the same to me!) and some golden rod plants (the insects love those flowers) & I can dig up some flowering forget-me-nots if anyone wants some. Any takers? If interested , please say when you can collect from Ashenground Road.🌱

Free: 5 Little Jam Pots (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted If you’re planning on making some jam or marmalade, why not use these pots to treat five people to a sample of your wares? I bet they’d be thrilled! And as the pots are this little, there should still be lots left for you😄. Collection...if you want them...from the Ashenground Road area. (The pen is just there to indicate the size of the jars.)

Free: 2-Seater Sofa (Haywards Heath RH16) Withdrawn 2-seater leather sofa. The leather is in quite good condition, but the seat on the left (as you sit on the sofa) sinks a bit as the owner plonked onto the sofa rather than elegantly seated himself. The seat cushions are fixed, so you can't fix the support webbing, but it’s still comfy and the other seat is fine. There’s no fire label on it as current owner removed it early on because she didn’t like it showing🤪. It will need two strong men and a van if you want to bag this lovely bit of furniture from the Rocky Drive area of Haywards Heath. If you’re interested, please leave a contact number so we can arrange collection. Thank you.

Free: Two Sprays of flowers or seed heads (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted Sprays of artificial (they’re plastic!) seed heads. Or possibly flowers. I’m not sure what plant they are supposed to represent, but they could look quite lovely or realistic or something in the appropriate container and/or with some companion artificial plants. Or some real ones. Whatever, if you would like to have these items, please say when you can collect them (Ashenground Road area).🌱🦠
