Free: Bridesmaid/Flower Girl accessories (hh) (Haywards Heath RH16) Two ‘Flower balls’ & two flowers/ribbons to clip in the bridesmaids’ hair. Sorry I don’t know the correct names for these items. I sure there’s something much posher than I came up with! Whatever, they’ve only been used once, and are clean, but have got a bit squashed while in storage, so could do with a freshen up. This shouldn’t be a problem with a bit of patient fiddling & maybe a slight damp spray. Any takers? They’re very pretty & would probably cost a bit new, so I’ll wait awhile to give more people a chance to reply; then I’ll choose according to the replies I get (if any). 😁

Free: Badminton racquets & shuttlecocks (Haywards Heath RH16) Withdrawn These may not be for national players level…although they may be, I don’t know…we got them for the children when they were small. There are 7 shuttlecocks left in the packet, so lots of play left for those balmy, sunny Summer days in the park or garden that we are so looking forward to! If they’re not gone by early Wednesday 21st Jan, they have an appointment with a local charity shop😁.

Free: Posh jam! (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted Unopened jar of blackcurrant and sloe gin jam, made especially for Nymans of National Trust fame. I was given the jam a month or so ago, but I don’t like blackcurrants (despite all that lovely vitamin C) or gin, so here it is for someone who does! Best before date is May 2027. I’ve included 3 photos of the jar’s labels, so you can read all about the ingredients etc. Collection from Ashenground Road area.

Free: Specs ‘chain’ (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted Are you always mislaying your specs?* Well, this useful item could be just what you need. It’s 28inches long, you won’t have to fork out any money for it, and it will go beautifully with any of your outfits! Isn’t that great? Collection from Ashenground Road area. (*After looking everywhere else for my ‘lost’ specs, I usually find them on the top of my head, having pushed them up there out of the way a while before!)

Free: UK Road Map (Haywards Heath RH16) Expired It’s a bit old (2017), but I don’t suppose the roads have changed THAT much. Also, there are a few pages missing, but someone may want to use the remaining pages for art or craft projects. Or you could check with me if maps for the places you’re likely to need are still in there. Or I could just put it in the recycling bin. :-)

Free: tv quiz game (Haywards Heath RH16) Expired Home-made quiz game. I screenshotted (I just made up a new verb!) some pictures & made 2 similar sets of “Guess the Sitcom” pictures. Some (well, most…) of the pictures are a bit fuzzy, but you can still see who the characters are ..mainly..and there’s a sheet with the answers on it. It’s all very amateurish, but it could give you & others a bit of fun trying to name the shows.

Free: Poppy Seeds (Haywards Heath RH16) Expired Poppy seeds for you to scatter in your garden! I don’t know what colour flower these seeds will produce, or how high they will grow, but I collected them from a gorgeous display I had of tall poppies like those in the picture. And while the seeds in that advert cost £2.89, and I haven’t actually counted out the seeds I bagged up for you, there are lots, and they are FREE! Collection from Ashenground Road area. P.S. Free: Love-in-a-mist seeds (Haywards Heath RH16) Expired These are seeds I collected from plants (also known as ‘nigella’) in my unkempt-but-i-don’t-mind garden. I understand that seeds don’t always produce flowers the same colour as the parent plant, so you may be lucky and get red or pink, but I have only had the dark or pale blue plants, with the occasional white one. Still, they’re all free, and the plants are beautiful & easy to grow. Collection from Ashenground Road area. P.S. When it says ‘2 available’, it means 2 packs, not 2 seeds!😄

Apart from colouring or letting youngsters decorate your lovely blank walls, there are LOTS of creative things you can do with wax crayons (or bits of them).
