Free:
String of LED lights, ~63” long (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
This came with the new bed frame I got recently; cute idea but not my sort of thing. Evidently they are multicolor, maybe programmable? Comes with instructions. USB connection for power.

Free:
Growler jug (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
From 42 North Brewery in East Aurora, NY. Used once; like new condition.

Free:
Large jar with stone chips (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Good for wet or dry flower arrangements. About 9” high.

Free:
Small heap of cotton padding (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
You know how pill bottles often come with a “plug” of cotton at the top? This offering represents a whole bunch of those, plus similar from other packaging (yes, I’m a crazy woman to have collected it, but it just seemed like it would be useful for *some*thing… someday… ha! :). Thinking maybe small stuffed toy? Very small pillow? Hoping someone feels more creative than I do. :)

Free:
Large Pyrex... Container? (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
...Or perhaps a cover for a statue or other object you wish to protect. I'm not sure what to call this thing and have no idea why (or where) my husband bought this thing, but it certainly isn't getting used here. It might be used as a terrarium...? Or, as I say, as a display case for an object (stuffed bird? vintage doll?). Hope someone out there has a vision!

Free:
Vintage Bambi figurine (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Adorable little guy, soft and fuzzy. Despite being who-knows-HOW-old, he is in beautiful condition.

Free:
Replacement scratching posts (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Has kitty worn out the posts on your current scratching tree? Maybe you can just replace them with these! It just depends on the size of the bolts holding them on. (I got these hoping to do just that, but then it turned out the bolts on the current one didn't fit these.) Could be worth a try? Cheaper than a whole new post, anyhow!

Free:
Small brass rubbing kit (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Unused; brass rubbing kit depicting Westminster Abbey.

Free:
Small wine rack (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Small but sturdy wine rack, solid wood. Holds 6 bottles.

Free:
Tea chest (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Beautiful solid wood tea chest (complete with lots of teas!) - unfortunately, I'm a coffee-person, and it's just not getting used. This needs to be living with a confirmed tea drinker. :)

Free:
Small, heart-shaped wind chimes (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Beautiful little piece made out of some kind of glass (? not sure). Heart-shaped danglers.

Free:
Men’s Fischer XC skis and poles (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Expired
“Vintage” Fischer cross country skis (they are old, but have been used very little). 187 cm, step-in bindings, all in good condition. Should work with any boot with the “bar across the toe” design (see closeup photo of the piece of boot sole). Excel poles, very long (former owner was tall).

Free:
Four old fashioned metronomes (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
The two black ones are battery powered; small one is a Seiko, larger one is a Sabine (“Quartz Metronome”). The other two are self-powered: wind them up with their key and off they go, emitting a nice loud tick-tock. The wind-ups are both Wittner, a German brand. All functional. (I realize everyone probably uses an app for this purpose nowadays, but hoping maybe there are a few musicians who like mechanical tools…?)

Free:
Four 4’ fluorescent lights (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Two almost brand new; two that have been used but likely have years of use left in them.

Free:
Nifty wooden “organizer box” (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Full disclosure: I rescued this little gem when someone was throwing it out because it just seemed so …nifty! I cleaned it all up and it’s quite a handsome little unit. But after a couple of months, I still haven’t figured out what to use it for (bummer). So I hope someone else can and will give it a good home. :)

Free:
Kenmore microwave oven (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Somewhat elderly but still in good working condition. Dimensions: 22” wide by 16” deep by 12.5” high. Plate inside is 14” diameter. Full disclosure: I have fixed the stem that turns the plate twice now, can’t guarantee how long this fix will last (but the previous fixes lasted for years). Still safe to use if plate doesn’t turn, just food won’t get evenly heated.

Free:
3 landline phones (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Two white AT&T desktop phones, one red wall phone with small “alert” light on top (flashes when phone is ringing). The white ones need new batteries to enable caller id, but all work fine in terms of simply being (old style! Ha) phones.

Free:
Small hibachi grill with chimney (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Small but heavy duty (and heavy) hibachi, comes with a piece of sheet metal to put it on, a “chimney” for starting the charcoal, the very end of a bag of charcoal and a partial can of lighter fluid. Hibachi has two separate grills that can be positioned independently, nearer or farther away from the fire. Handy and fun; we just don’t use it anymore (sadly). Oh well! Hope this makes someone else’s day. :)

272d
Free:
Very large canvas carry-all (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Capacious, sturdy luggage sack with multiple handles (removable shoulder strap, pair of handles top center, large handle at one end [last photo]), in good condition. My husband once used it for hockey gear - if you have a child doing sports with lots of gear, this would be great.

278d
Free:
Cat litter boxes and mat (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Smaller box (bright pink!) is 14” x 18”; larger grey one is 16” x 22”; mat is ~30.5” x 24”. Totally clean and ready for your kitties. :)

Free:
Unusual large Pyrex glass dome (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Expired
This is pretty odd, it’s like something the Victorians would have put over a stuffed bird statue or something. 8” diameter, about 18” high. I really wasn’t sure how to title this post: it could be used as a “covering” item - a dome - or as a (deep) container (for a terrarium? an ant farm?).

299d
Free:
Miniature truck, tractor, mower (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Very detailed, beautifully crafted in metal (and some plastic). Not quite sure if they should be called “toys”, they seem like collector items, but could be great for kids: hard to break! ;)

299d
Free:
Magic books (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
A whole pile of books on magic (19 in all), both “how to” and stories of great magicians (ex. Houdini).

299d
Free:
Glass carboy - 4 gal capacity (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Expired
My husband used to brew beer, and this was used for the fermentation process. It needs a good bleach treatment (little cloudy on the inside) but is otherwise in great shape, ready for a new life for … whatever purpose you come up with!

299d
Free:
Pedal exerciser (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Aka a mini exercise bike; work at your desk while getting some exercise! Has adjustable resistance and digital display. To be honest, I spotted it on the curb a couple months ago and was surprised to find that it seems to be fully functional. I brought it home and cleaned it, hoping my husband could use it to build up some strength, but he’s just not a fan. So - now hoping to rehome it via this platform. Any takers? :)

Free:
Vintage Mucha poster (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Beautiful reproduction of this Art Nouveau classic image, printed on heavy-weight, fabric-like paper. Had spent the greater part of its life in a tube in the attic- which has kept it in great condition, but it should be out making someone’s space beautiful. Measures ~20” x ~26”.

Free:
Large quantity of loose green tea (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Given to us by a friend a couple years ago; yes, it's been opened and sampled but tightly sealed ever since. Turns out green tea just isn't my thing, but I have a hard time simply throwing away this much of anything. I think it's probably still good. Any green tea lovers who want to give it a try?

Free:
2 under-cabinet lights (Park-Monroe Neighborhood)
Gifted
Two fluorescent lights, 18” long, 4” wide; have mounting holes in both the tops and the back sides (2nd photo). Both in good working condition.
