Request: Edible plant seeds/seedlings for growing in pots (Kingsmead) we're enthused by the bug! Would welcome any seeds, half-packs, seedlings of any veg (or fruit??) that can grow in pots on a sunny patio. From dwarf beans to spinach, kale and lettuce to bell peppers and tomatoes.. all would be most gratefully accepted. [The only exception is 'hot peppers' which, sadly despite being easy to grow, do not agree with us]. We have some rooted indoor jade houseplants looking for new homes: we are not allowed to offer 'exchanges' but it would be great to find new homes amongst people we might already be collecting from, to save journeys, time and fuel/pollution.
Request: Deep, Stable Planters/Flower Pots 15" or more in height: (Kingsmead) Having grown some 'Honesty' seedlings with sentimental value, there's no garden to give them the depth they clearly need. Would very much appreciate some deep stable pots with drainage to give them the loving conditions they are asking for whilst they enjoy the little outdoor platform they now inhabit. And - bonus! the kind donor will certainly be offered a seedling if they so wish...
Request: Bicycle Pump (Kingsmead) These Flat tyres are in danger of perishing for want of a pump.. has anyone a surplus bicycle tyre pump to the rescue?

Request: Potting soil/medium (Kingsmead) underestimated what we already have, and now in need! Has anybody any unused (or used but 'clean') soil/ medium lurking about and no longer needed? Any amount will be welcome..old gro-bag medium, or potting compost.. etc. if you can spare a small amount,, collecting would be by bus, but if it's more than can be managed/carried (ie more than a sackful), it would be truly wonderful if it could be dropped off for us at the bottom of town. The plants won't mind if it's sandy, or peaty, or anything in between as we can mix it in with what we already have to make a welcome for them.
Request: Bicycle Tyre Pump (Kingsmead) Expired Tyre Pump sought for this elderly touring bike. We are keen to get this bike back on the road and out and about. You will be forever gratefully remembered if you can help us out! If so we could collect locally or on a local bus route from the Bus Station.

Request: hose for a Miele S4581 vacuum cleaner (Kingsmead) Expired Old Miele vacuum cleaner hose-to-body fitting sought (or hose with the end that fits the body still intact). Hoping some generous freegler might have just what we need!.
Free: 2 different Vacuums both for spares (Kingsmead) Gifted 1. A much loved Panasonic MC-E741 available for spares. We've been told 'the fan' is kaput. No idea what that means exactly but the motor was lovely before 'the fan' made some noise-complaint. It would be great if these parts can be useful to someone somehow. 2. A very good BOSCH cordless rechargeable Readyyy Vacuum. It was freegled to us with the dust - holder and dust filter MISSING, as is the identity label - which seems to have been removed. So it's not been possible to identify the precise model. The motor and suction are excellent. This vaccum, can be used as a hand held or an upright. The charger has sadly gone walkabout. If you have one of these vacuums your charger would probably charge it. If anyone would like either of these, Just let us know.
Request: small vacuum cleaner (Kingsmead) Expired very much wanted_ a small or medium vacuum cleaner, corded or with a good strong battery, for a rather dirty small flat and stairs (so not a lot of room but plenty of crannies to clean!). Can collect in the centre of Bath, Kingsmead, or on bus routes out, at times to suit. It may take a couple of days to organise collection if a bus trip is needed. Thank you so much, freeglers! this won't be the first time we've been 'saved' by freegle!
Free: Ultrabrite lightbulbs (Kingsmead) Expired Small, opened pack of 6 'ultrabrite' /g4 20Watt 'capsule' bulbs for Halogen lamp. Dimmable.375 Lumens. These are the little tiny 2-pronged bulbs that fit into a desktop lamp by poking them into the two tiny holes for them. A bit like these (but a different wattage etc). Please say when you can collect, if you'd like these. Collecting must be in shop-opening hours unless you are near the shopping centre and have a letterbox we could drop them in for you. We value reliability so if you'd like them, please only ask if you can follow-through!
Request: vaccuum for communal hall (Kingsmead) Expired Desperate to have a go at the much unloved communal hall and stairs (a rather tough 'carpet'). Appearance doesn't matter, but as there are many stairs, a smaller type would be wonderful. The Bissel 'Pet' we used to use was compact and wonderful, but has now given up the ghost. It was perfect for the job, til it died. We are near Kingsmead but could collect anywhere on a bus route locally.
Request: 1/2kg Dumbells ! (Bath & North East Somerset) Expired i've been advised by my lovely RUH physio to get myself some light dumbells asap and start using them :-) Enormous gratitude will come your way if you offer me a pair of 1/2 kg and a pair of 1kg dumbells or either of these sets. Anyone 'outgrown' these lighterweight starter weights and would like them to find a new enthusiast? Can collect at a range of times, most easily if you are walking distance or a bus ride from Bath centre.
Free: Dried Thistles and Roses for project (Kingsmead) Expired a smallish group of hand-dried (stemmed) thistles and another of hand-dried (stemmed) roses, suitable for creating interior decorations or little dried posies as gifts etc. could be supplemented with fresh greenery, ribbons etc to make lovely little gifts. The rose stalks are about 4 inches long and the thistles have longer stalks. These could also be lovely as part of Christmas offerings (but as it's summer i won't mention that!) Sadly my own plans for this have had to be put aside due to lack of leisure time.

Free: Bird-scaring jangly bits (protect soft fruit?) (Kingsmead) Expired large bag of former (empty) TeaLight metal disk-container-thingys which i saved to make into some birdscaring hangings for a garden soft-fruit project. Have no opportunity for it now but would make a brilliant summer hols activity for kids.. they would need holes punched in the bases (not difficult to do) and strung together close enough to make a little sound clanking/rustling, but perhaps with stringing knots between the pieces. Sorry no photo.. but i think the items speak for themselves perhaps... Far too good to put in recycling ! A good home please tell me who you might use these with.. ie a small community garden would be ideal to protect soft fruit? Also please tell me when you could potentially collect...
Request: CHARGER for Panasonic Video Camera HDC-SD9 (Kingsmead) Expired Hello, I'm looking for a charger! i've been given an old Panasonic Video Camera (HDC-SD9) in what seems to be good nik, but it doesn't have a battery charger nor a cable adaptor to run off the mains. If anyone would like to give me any pieces or accessories for this Video Camera i'd be hugely grateful! The camera is meant to help me with my studies, so i can play my performance back and get criticism and feedback from others.. so here's hoping :-)
Request: Light Grey Shoe 'dye' or coating for scuffed leather shoes (Kingsmead) Expired i have a much loved but scuffed pair of Kickers ... a light grey colour. Might anyone have a leftover bit of shoe 'dye' (the kind that can change or cover the leather, not the stain kind) that i may have to help keep my Kickers kicking? I don't really mind if it's not an exact match... i just want to protect them and transparent shoe polish is my last resort.. dye/recoating is what i really need. Anyone able to help?
Free: Leaflet/information holders (Kingsmead) Expired Transparent wallmounting leaflet/information/bills? or suchlike holders made of some kind of hard rigid 'plastic' and should make useful wall-mounted storage when properly wall-mounted. They don't seem to lie quite flat against the wall but they do have keyholes for screw mounting. (see photos) They also seem to be able to hook onto each other in some way but i haven't figured out exactly how. About 8"high by just over 4" wide and 1" deep (not including mounting tabs.) Rescued from a shop closing down but no longer needed.

Free: SOUPMAKER. Scotts of Stowe Soup Maker (Kingsmead) Gifted Electric Soup Maker, Boxed with all parts and instructions. Smart black base, transparent jug, filter, and egg-cooking attachment, etc. Used a few times, in excellent condition BUT i can't seem to get the mixer blades to work when i set the programmes. They worked fine at first and the soups were brilliant! The blades are clean and they can turn, so it may be a loose wire or connection somewhere? This is a wonderful little bit of Kit, it's quite a few years old, has hardly been used, but needs someone who might be able to figure how to get the blades going. Alternatively it could be used to heat things up, (more multipurpose than a kettle!) and maybe useful in a small bedsit or when travelling. Food would need stirring by hand unless the blades can be got working again (wooden spoon or spatula) to stop things burning on the heating pad at the base of the jug.
