Free: Technics Component System (Roebuck SG2) This isn't one of those Technics systems that gets HiFi enthusiasts excited so it's not worth a fortune like some are but when it's all running it would make a decent setup for any home. I'm offering this for a friend so I don't have too many details; I know for certain it hasn't been used for at least two or three years. I have powered it up and it shows a red power light on the front but beyond that I can't get a response from it, while this could be something to do with the missing link cable I would strongly suggest that it be considered a spares or repair project rather than a running system. There's is a ribbon cable missing which is supposed to connect the top CD changer section to the sound processor which then passes everything through the amplifier. It also lacks a power lead but this is a standard figure 8 lead so not at all difficult to obtain. To answer a couple of the more obvious questions in advance. No, there are no speakers to go with it, nor are there any audio leads. Also there is no turntable with it. The ribbon cable can be found online, I've seen Technics cables for between £14.00 & £25.00 but you have to double check you have the one for the right components as they made several different ones over the years. This is offered on a strictly collection only basis, I'm not able to deliver. I'm available any evening after 6:30pm & most afternoons on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday and more or less any weekend but mornings can be difficult to arrange. Free: Four Samsung Galaxy S21 phone cases. (Roebuck SG2) Gifted None of these are the flimsy silicon things that give your phone about as much protection as wrapping it in a bread bag. The three to the right are all pretty much brand new, none were on a phone for more than a few hours while being evaluated. The one on the left is a well used but still perfectly usable Dexnor full protection cover. Dexnor covers give excellent protection, I've used them for years. The phone that was in this one was recently sold to a "Well known" high street used electronics retailer as a Grade A without a single mark or blemish on it after three years of use which is a pretty good testament to how well they protect. Free: Garden Tables and Parasols. (Roebuck SG2) Gifted EDIT. The white table and parasol are now spoken for so only the smaller dark parasol and black table are available. We have one black and one white(ish) garden tables available for collection. They are both quite well used and would benefit from a good clean and perhaps a touch of paint in a few areas but they are both good & solid and have years of use left in them, they are only available as they've been replaced. Also two parasols. the darker of the two has a tilt mechanism at the top. You can ask for all of them or just what you need. Strictly collection only from the Roebuck area of Stevenage. Free: Morphy Richards Pod Vaccum cleaner. (Roebuck SG2) Gifted It may look big in the picture but it's actually quite compact, only a about a foot long. Being bagless means it has a better capacity, in fact It has enough to vacuum my entire flat two or three times before it needs emptying. Comes with the flexible hose, tubes the original main head and a crevice tool. It's size makes it perfect for anyone who has limited storage space, it's so compact that when I was in a studio flat I kept the vacuum the hose and the head in the bottom half of a kitchen cabinet. That said it's more than up to taking care of a a whole house and it has plenty of suction power. There's nothing really wrong with it, the only thing that's ever been a problem is that the cable doesn't lock into place when pulled out so I just tie it off on the handle. I've recently been given one that suits my needs better and I don't have space to store things I'm not going to use so it's time someone else got some use out of it. Free: Double Mattress. (Roebuck SG2) Gifted This is a Staples & Co double pocket spring mattress. It's a full size double that's deeper than most at around 11" or 12" It's a firm mattress and very comfortable, it's had a lambswool topper on it pretty much since I got it three years ago so it's clean but there is one small stain where some tea was spilled, I tried to clean it but all I seem to have managed to do is make a slightly paler stain with a wide water mark around it. Other than that as far as I can tell the mattress is unmarked, the fabric on top at the head end has obviously stretched a little from use but that doesn't effect the support it gives in any way. These mattresses are hand made and well filled, the quality shows in the weight however so it's a pretty heavy mattress, far heavier than most double mattresses and it will absolutely need two people to move it. I'll help get it from my ground floor flat to the front of the building and it's easy to get a van more or less right up to the doors of my building to reduce the carrying but you will need someone at the other end to move it from there. At the moment as I have nowhere to store it I have my new mattress on top of it on my bed, once someone commits to collecting it I'll get it off ready for collection. You'll need a van or a car with a very big loading area, this isn't a mattress that will fold and I suspect if you managed to it would damage it so it needs to be moved laying down or upright on its side. Please please PLEASE! DO NOT SAY YOU'LL HAVE IT THEN LET ME DOWN. Moving this thing around is a major pain for me as I have balance issues that make such things doubly hard to do. If anyone does then rest assured I will leave feedback that reflects just how unreliable they are. Free: Pine Bedside Cabinet (Roebuck SG2) Gifted The finish is a bit tired and could do with sanding down and wax polishing or varnishing to show off the wood. It's solid and there's nothing really wrong with it, a bit of TLC and there are years left in it. It measures 62cm high 40cm wide and 31cm deep. Strictly collection only from the Roebuck area of Stevenage (more or less behind the Roebuck shops). Free: Metal Detector (kids size) (Roebuck SG2) Gifted This is a smallish detector, it could be used by an adult but I think it was originally marketed as a kids or very low end entry level detector. I've put batteries in it & it beeps and the dial moves but I've no idea how well it's working, if at all. Free: Two seater real leather recliner. All working. (Roebuck SG2) Gifted Depending on the outcome of a scheduled delivery tomorrow (Thursday 22nd) I will probably have a two seater real leather recliner sofa available by around midday. It's all working just as it should, the seats can be reclined individually and either just the front end or the back too depending on your preference. Coming from a smoke and pet free home. Apart from some surface wear here & there as you'd expect on real leather furniture there are no marks, scratches, tears or other damage. The mechanism for reclining is all functioning fine. It's very comfortable sofa and good quality built around an all steel framework so unlike some cheap recliners with wooden or even plastic frame parts it's unlikely to break any time soon. Owing to lack of space to keep it together it will be dismantled into four sections as soon as my new sofa arrives which makes it easier to transport but you'll still need a reasonably good sized vehicle or be prepared to make more than one trip to collect it. I have the steel spring clips that hold it all in place and I'll l be happy to show you how it assembles. This offer is strictly collection only, and preference will go to whoever can collect it soonest. I cannot deliver it under any circumstances. I cannot hold it either, I don't have space to have it around for days while people try to track down a van. Collection will be from a ground floor flat, you should be able to bring a vehicle up close to the entrance doors but the sofa parts will need to be moved around thirty yards (27m) along a hallway from the flat to the entrance doors. I may be able to help move it depending on how my disability is effecting me on the day but don’t rely on it so you’ll probably want two people to move and load it. Free: Crane Fitt 3 Workout cube. (Roebuck SG2) Gifted Worked just fine when last used in February. It's the same as the one in this article Nothing wrong with it but health issues make it unsuitable for me to use. Ready for collection pretty much any day after 12:30pm.
