Free: Seam Grip seam sealant/repair adhesive (tents, waterproofs etc) (Bilton CV22) Gifted Seam sealer and repair adhesive for holes and tears in flexible materials - tents, awnings, waterproofs, rucksacks, backpacks etc. It is unopened but a good couple of years old, so there is a chance that it may be set, but the tube isn’t hard so it’s probably perfectly usable. Free: 5 Sofa cushion covers - purple, washable, good condition- Kids? Playroom? Classroom? Pets? (Bilton CV22) Gifted Purple washable sofa cushion cover set: 5 zip up cushion covers from a sofa - dark reddish purple colour. Could use them as cushion covers or use the fabric for something else. Make floor cushions for kids/school/nursery? Could be used for beanbags possibly? They are freshly washed and clean and a much nicer colour than they look! I will try and update the photo. Free: Strip of coir door mat - use to make cat scratcher, boot scraper etc? (Bilton CV22) Gifted Narrow strip of unused doormat - you could cable-tie it round a brick or similar to make a boot scraper - keep outside the back door for the gardener of the house? Or glue it to a board or round a tube to make a cat scratcher. Or put on the back wall of the garage to protect your car? Nail it to a board and keep in the shed to clean tools etc? Free: Loganberry cuttings - thornless (Bilton CV22) Gifted I’m just about to prune my Loganberry plant. There will be lots of this year’s growth perfect for cuttings. I’ve taken cuttings in the past from this plant and had a good rate of success. The parent plant is an amazing cropper and the berries are big and sweet! Can be kept under control in the garden, or left to run riot if you have the space or an allotment. If you would like some of the prunings, you are more than welcome! Request: Small notebook/diary A7 sized ish (Bilton CV22) Expired I’d like a very small notebook or unused diary (don’t care what year!) between credit card and iPhone sized, either stapled or stitched (not glued or spiral bound). Free: Thrip prevention/treatment - predatory mites (organic) (Bilton CV22) Expired Sachets of natural predators for thrips - two types- minimum order was five and I only needed one of each. They have a limited shelf life, so there’s no point in keeping them. Hang a sachet on your plants and they keep working for up to 4 weeks. Note you shouldn’t apply both types at the same time unless it’s a severe infestation (they can predate on each other!) If you are struggling with thrips on your indoor or greenhouse plants, these are the things. They feed on the larvae in the soil and break the life-cycle. See the leaflet for more info. Free: Rosemary - fresh, ready to use or dry for later (Bilton CV22) Expired About to chop down a lovely Rosemary plant - it’s not really the right time of year to take cuttings –although you could try – but it is perfect for use in the kitchen, either fresh or you could dry it to use later.
