So, if you have an older PC in need of an external speaker system and/or you want to see if this unit will work for you or you want it for parts it is yours for the asking.

Yes, cassettes and VHS are obsolete, seldom used anywhere. BUT, if you have a player / recorder or are just interested in the nostalgia of it all, I have several unused cassette cartridges and cases that are someone's for the asking. The same is true for the VHS tapes I have and the cases (clear and black).
