Child's large garden slide (West Haddon NN6)
Gifted
It's a green garden slide, heavy duty, fibreglass-like plastic, 9'6" long with a wave in the middle. It needs to stand at least 4' high, 4'6" is ideal, but we have had it slightly higher. About 2' wide. Although it is self supported once in position, it doesn't have a frame of its own and it needs to be screwed/tied to another structure for safety. We have had it on a tree, a den or a purpose-built set of wooden steps in the last 5 years. And into a paddling pool! It has multiple screw-down points on the top but a couple of them have broken over the years. (see second photo). The new holes can be easily drilled out. A couple of 2" screws come with it if needed. Probably weighs 10kg - 15kg but due to the length won't fit inside the average car, so roof rack, or long vehicle, required to collect. I can't deliver.

HP PSC 1317 Scanner, Copier & Printer (West Haddon NN6)
It's quite old, probably 11 years and it is wired, i.e. doesn't work on your WiFi, hence we upgraded to a Wireless one at Christmas! It's been sat on the desk not used since then and I used it mainly as an A4 scanner before that, as we had a another printer that did double sided more easily. It works with most scan packages I've tried, even the Microsoft Windows inbuilt one. It does still print and on one photo it shows the alignment page I printed today, but two things to note: 1. It doesn't like the cheap thin paper I buy so I have to manually 'persuade' it to take one sheet at a time. I suspect the paper feed rollers need taking out and cleaning again. I did them a few years ago but I can't be bothered now. 2. The colour ink cartridge has run out and I'm too tight to buy a new one! Shame to tip it if it might be of use as a scanner to someone and as a copier or printer for someone with the patience to feed it slowly or clean the insides , and dosh to buy a colour cartridge

Animal-themed baby activity mat (West Haddon NN6)
Colourful soft animal-themed baby activity mat about 80cm square with arches about 40 cm high. The mat has various African jungle animals design and each has a fluffy or crinkly texture. There's also a squeaker sound in the bird. There is a soft plastic mirror in one corner to reflect light and movement. On the two soft, flexible arches there are multiple eyelets from which you can suspend four different soft-bodied animals: monkey, parrot, giraffe and elephant, each of which has a sound or texture. They are all washable and everything disconnects by press-stud to fold and store. It's been kept in a box for a few years so probably needs a good airing. Note: That there is a removable compartment for 3 AA batteries as it used to play nursery rhyme tunes and light up the flowers when the baby moved around but these do not work. Perhaps the contacts need cleaning or the pressure sensor is broken?

Child's soft tiger seat (West Haddon NN6)
Gifted
Suitable for a toddler, soft plush tiger seat about 65cm high. The head and shoulders are stuffed with artificial kapok but the seat is a removable inflatable cushion. It stays inflated! As seen on the photo, there's a small area on the belly where the seam stitching is coming apart and on the left side of the neck / shoulder, so you will need a needle and thread. Smoke and pet free home.

Oak-effect desk/dresser (West Haddon NN6)
Gifted
Small desk or dresser in oak-effect veneer, was used as a laptop desk. Measures 110cm wide, 75cm high. Four drawers with brass handles. The top is in very good condition with no scratches or pen marks. It has been disassembled and is supplied with necessary screws, however as shown on third photo, one of the dowels in the underside of the top has broken, so will need digging out and a new one fitted in. (I might have a spare) It doesn't affect the use but makes moving it tricky. Also one of drawers' front is loose and needs gluing back in.

Kids' rucksacks and lunchbags (West Haddon NN6)
Expired
Anyone need spare a small rucksack or lunchbag for school or perhaps aeroplane carry-on for a child? The rucksacks are all about 30cm long and the Gruffalo has wipeclean liner like a coldbag. The Bob The Builder one has a key ring zip pull as part of the original tab broke off. The Gruffalo one does not have a front pocket like the others. (Note: The Shark and dark blue emergency vehicles ones have gone!) All used but in good condition. The lunch bags are Tatty Teddy, Hello Kitty and Charmmy Kitty (shoulder strap) design and a bit pink.

Old PS2 games - not working? (West Haddon NN6)
Gifted
Found a few old PS2 games but not sure they work so I don't know they are of use to anyone, perhaps for the cases or manuals? I tried checking them on the PS3 and get the message "Unsupported data". There's FIFA2005, MIRRA2 BMX, PESoccer5, Metal Gear Solid 1 & Smash Court Tennis. Also demo discs for F1 2002, Dance Beat, Time Crisis 2, Rocky and Ape Escape (2002/2003). It says they are DVD ROMs but they don't play on my computer, although I can see the files on each disc. Also tried a PS2 emulator on my PC but I think it's too old. Maybe some whizz can recycle, repair or reuse them.

Small princess costume/bridesmaid dress (West Haddon NN6)
Expired
Originally a bridesmaid's dress but has seen some wear and tear, so probably only suitable for dressing up, unless you are handy with repairs and delicate fabric cleaning. It's on its way to the charity shop if no good to anyone here. Purple sparkly bodice, polyester cream net silhouette skirt and cotton underskirt, with large pin-on bow. Lace up back with removable modesty panel. Height is 99cm with a minimum bodice flat width of about 9", maximum about 14" (28" chest?), so would probably suit ages 4-8, depending on their height and width. It is labelled as "6" inside. There's a small rip (2") high up on the back of the underskirt, which is covered by the bow if used. It could be stitched. There's also some light brown staining on the inside of the cotton underskirt where it appears to have leached through at the front of the net silhouette. It may have been a cola spill or poor storage! As it says dry-clean only, we haven't tried washing it.

Computer monitor / screen (West Haddon NN6)
Received
I'm looking for a working computer screen, monitor or VDU as they used to be called. Flat screen preferable please and still working well. Also needs to be 18" or more as my eyes aren't as good as they used to be! My old one (shown) is going a bit yellow on the imaging, flickery and cuts out now and again. My pension doesn't stretch to a fancy new one and I've no idea if it's worth repairing this old 'un. ;-) Thanks.
