6.5ins long, takes two size C batteries, I think. I HAVE NO IDEA IF IT WORKS! Sorry, but it's very old and hasn't been used in a long time. I don't have any of the right size batteries, it just seems a shame to put the torch in landfill if there's a possibility it might be useful to someone.
