Free: Chair exercise pedals (Southport PR8) Promised This was freegled to us for my husband to exercise his legs, but sadly he hasn’t got the necessary strength to use it properly. It’s got an adjustment for effort and a handy little display. Collect only please.

Request: 4 wheeled adult walker (Southport PR8) We need an adult walker with a seat so that my husband can get around upstairs. If he’s too tired to walk he can then sit and move it with his feet. It doesn’t matter if it’s one of those heavy ones because it will remain upstairs.

Free: Standard double storage bed (Southport PR8) Gifted Double memory foam storage bed, available with or without the mattress. It’s the type where the storage box is the entire underside of the bed and accessed by raising the foot of the frame on gas struts. The photo shows the type of bed it is. It’s would need two strong persons to move it. We need a hospital bed so that’s the reason for the offer.

Free: Bed set (Southport PR8) Gifted Two king size duvet covers, 4 pillow cases, two matching valances for queen size bed, 1 matching flat sheet. The duvet covers and pillowcases are reversible. The photo shows each side of the pillow cases. These did go with the bed I also have on offer.

Request: Book or Flower Press (Southport PR8) Expired Has anyone got an unused book press, or failing that, a flower press. I have a large number of maps to sell for a local charity but they have been stored badly and on end. At the moment they are all S shaped and need flattening under pressure. Free: Drill Extension (Southport PR8) Gifted I haven’t a clue where this came from and have never used it. A flexible extension so that a drill can be used in awkward situations.

Free: Jigsaw blades (Southport PR8) Gifted There are 8 of them bought for my Black & Decker jigsaw, which immediately rolled over and died. As it was about 20 years old I’ve got another one which doesn’t use this style of blade. Anyone want them? I think they fit most jigsaws, just not mine. They’re all unused.

Request: Piano Stool (Southport PR8) Received My husband has very shortened tendons in his right leg, preventing him from standing. He has been instructed by the physios to keep his leg raised and as straight as possible but at the moment we’re using a bathroom stool. We’d both love a padded top so an old piano stool would be the right height and ideal. If you’ve got one cluttering up the place we’d love to add it to ours.

Free: Music centre (Southport PR8) Gifted Panasonic music centre, 5cd changer, Radio, usb payer, tape player, bass speaker as well as left and right. Remote control. Loads of speaker cabling. No room for this now due to enforced downstairs living.

Free: Bedding for 2’ 6” bed (Southport PR8) Gifted A mattress protector and three single fitted sheets. These were purchased in error and have never been used and are still in their packaging, if anyone can make use of them.

Free: 12 volt spotlight (Southport PR8) Gifted Excellent as an emergency in the car. It plugs into the cigarette lighter socket, has a very bright white light, and an orange cover. The long cord stores in the rear. The on/off switch is on the sturdy handle on the top.

Free: Shells (Southport PR8) Gifted We used to use them for serving fish starters when having dinner parties, but those days are long gone. They were originally sold to me as suitable for food and I’ve had no problem with using them as servers - but not for cooking in.

Request: Banana Board (Southport PR8) Received My husband is not strong enough yet to bear any weight on his legs, but I’ve caught him trying to get from a chair to his wheelchair unaided. I’m just wondering if he had a banana board close by, and was taught how to use it, he’d be safer if I took my eye off him. If anyone has a now unused one I’d be really grateful.

Request: Wheelchair power assist (Southport PR8) Received It’s a big ask, but just in case someone has a power assist unit for a wheelchair I would be very grateful. The arthritic hips are giving me some pain whilst pushing my husband around.
