Request: Embroidery for beginners materials (Claregate WV6) Received 276d - Hello, I’m launching a weekly Women’s Health and Wellbeing group at the Independent Living Centre, Smethwick. One of the ladies who is going to be attending has requested learning to embroider as an activity she would like. I don’t have access to much funding at present, so I’d be grateful if donations of any of the following: Embroidery threads or smooth wool Embroidery needles Embroidery hoops Ginka fabric / embroidery fabric I am able to collect evenings or weekends. Free: Food platters (Whitmore Reans WV6) Expired 325d - A pile of food platters are just about to be thrown away by a local charity I work for. Please reply promptly if you want them and can collect tomorrow from Newhampton Road Wolverhampton 7.30-9.30am They are dusty but otherwise ok for use. Currently in Wombourne area as it belongs to my Dad, but could be collected from me in Claregate area of Wolverhampton as I can pick it up. Request: Waterproof coat for muddy environment - small or medium (Claregate WV6) Received 1y - Hi, I wonder if anyone has a waterproof coat lurking in their cupboard, perhaps the type acquired as workwear but no longer needed. Scruffy is fine, as long as it is waterproof. I am a horticulture student. My current waterproof, despite washing with Nikwax, is not keeping me dry when it rains. I'm reluctant to buy a new coat (although my husband has kindly offered to get me one for my birthday!) as in the environment where I do my work experience I am using power tools, getting splattered with mud, hugging plant puts etc, so it seems a shame to buy something new and expensive. I usually buy ladies' size 12 coats, so anything small to medium would fit me. We have more than we need for the modest batch we make. Free: Panasonic bread machine with partial function (Wombourne WV5) Gifted 1y - All the mixing and proving functions work. Dough needs to be removed for final bake in conventional oven Free: Singer sewing machine (Claregate WV6) Gifted 1y - Singer sewing machine. Not used for a few decades but was working when last used. Important to say that this machine is really heavy. I can hardly lift it myself. So please don't ask for it unless you are fit and able to handle it. Secondly, it is located in Wombourne - not at postcode displayed - so will need someone with a car to collect it, with at least two people. There is no way you could hold it and open car door at the same time. Please can the four people who have already got in touch message again to confirm you have read this edit and if you still want it. It would be nice to know a little bit about you too, as this machine was my Mum's so I would like to think it is going somewhere it will be used and appreciated. Thanks.
