I may be able to find some skewers that will fit, but no promises! They both spin adequately, with the rear being a little rougher than the front. Collection from Formby. Free: Bosch cordless hedge trimmer (Formby L37) Gifted In working order, with 2 batteries. Only problem is that batteries don’t hold charge for long. If you charge them, you’ll get a reasonable amount of cutting if you use them straight away. But if you wait till the following day, they’ll be flat again. Replacement batteries are available on Amazon for c£25 I think. Please leave a number when responding.

Free: Roger Black cross trainer - new power supply (Formby L37) Expired Working but fairly creaky in operation. The plug was damaged, so I've bought a replacement power supply - see photo of the illuminated display. I will wait a day from posting to allow those who aren't poised by their devices to have a fair shout. Note that you will need a vehicle large enough to collect it from us in Formby.

Request: Aldi Diplomat Protect Cherry Super Tea bags (Formby L37) Expired Hi there - a bit of an unusual request, but does anyone in Formby have any of this tea lurking at the back of your cupboard that you are not going to use?! I'm a big fan, but Aldi seem to have discontinued it, so I thought I'd try asking on Freegle. Please, Formby only, as I will come by bike to collect. I am semi-retired, so can make most days/times. Free: Autumn-planting garlic, shallots and onion sets (Formby L37) Gifted Bought a bargain bundle of these from the Organic Gardening catalogue. Have planted what I want and these are left over. Free: Kingsize feather duvet (Formby L37) Expired Pretty old, but still does its job, this duvet has been used by us for years. The feathers do tend to migrate to the foot of the bed over the course of a few nights, but that's nothing that can't be remedied by a quick shake! Collection from Formby - please provide a phone number when responding, as a quick call/text is so much better when trying to arrange a collection time. I will leave it at least 24 hours from placing the offer to allow those who aren't sat poised at their keyboards/phones a chance to respond.

Request: 26 x 1 1/4 rear bike wheel (Formby L37) Expired Hi there - does anyone happen to have a rear bike wheel in 26 x 1 1/4 (also known as 32-597) cluttering up their garage? I now have 5 broken spokes on my old Raleigh pop-to-the-shops bike and it'll cost more to fix than it would to buy a replacement! Please note that a modern 26" mountain bike wheel will not fit. I'm in Formby, but can collect from any reasonable location roundabouts. Thank you in advance :-)

Free: Aldi Ferrex cordless hedge trimmer - spares or repairs (Formby L37) Gifted This hedge-trimmer cuts well, but note that the switch is temperamental (a piece of plastic broke inside the switch mechanism and my attempts at repairs have only been partially successful). Note that NO BATTERY OR CHARGER is provided with this, but you can still buy them at Aldi when they have them in stock. Or maybe you already have the battery which are designed to fit a number of different Aldi appliances. Collection from Formby - ideally please leave a phone number if you're interested as it's much easier to arrange collection by phone/text than by playing email-tennis. I will wait c24 hours after placing this ad, so that everyone has a fair chance.

Free: Panasonic 32" LCD TV - working but old (Formby L37) Gifted Hi - anyone interested in this TV? Model no TX-32LZD81. It's in good working order and comes complete with the remote. It's not smart, but that's easily resolved using a streaming stick like Roku, or Amazon Fire. It receives both conventional and FreeSat signals. Collection from Formby. I will allow a day or so before responding to requests, to allow those who are not poised over their keyboards the chance to express an interest.
