Free: Call blocker unit (Woodthorpe YO24) Expired This is a call blocker machine that screens calls using settings selected by the owner. We no longer have a home telephone but we found this very useful when we did, as it prevented most, if not all, scam calls getting through. It comes with a quick start guide but the full manual can be found on the truecall web site. There is some white paint on the black lead but otherwise it is in good condition. It can occasionally be temperamental eg it has been known to interrupt a conversation with a recognized caller to give you the option of blocking them but we found it worth it for the peace of mind it gave us. If you have digital voice services rather than a landline you will need an adapter to use it - I have seen these on sale in an electrical store for around £10 You also need to ensure that caller display is activated by your service provider - Ofcom has ruled that all providers must enable this for free. I have reset the machine so it is ready to set up as in the start up instructions. If interested please say when you can collect from Woodthorpe.
