Free: Classical music guide (Fareham PO15) These days you probably wouldn't want this as a guide to buying classical CDs (or cassettes!) but it's still a useful reference book with 1400 pages of information about composers from Albeniz to Zemlinsky. Paperback edition published in 1994.

Free: 25 CDs of film soundtracks etc (Fareham PO15) Gifted Film music including Shrek, Rocky Horror, Harry Potter, Mulan, Pirates of Caribbean, Beauty and the Beast, Gladiator, Tarzan etc. Also some greatest hits compilations. All in a zip-up case with the original sleeve notes but without the original jewel cases.

Free: Electronic stuff, tools and leads. (Fareham PO15) Gifted Various electronic items including a mains adaptor for charging low voltage items and an interface monitor and breakout panel. I don't know if they work. Also various tools and test leads.

Free: Parkside Jig saw - needs attention (Fareham PO15) Gifted Parkside jig saw. The motor works, but there is a screw missing from the part that holds the blade. Pic 2 shows a square piece with two holes in it. Next to it is one of the screws that holds it in place, but the other one is missing, so the blade can't be secured. Find another screw for it, and you have a usable jig saw.

Free: Tronic power cube. Battery charger. (Fareham PO15) Gifted This has a 12V battery inside it, and outputs for 3V, 4.5, 6, 9 and 12V. With lots of different connectors. Intended for charging up low voltage items like phones when you are off grid. It's been sitting on the shelf for a long time and I don't know if it still works, but it could be a bit of fun for someone who likes tinkering with electronics.

Free: 12 x ceramic tiles. 25cm x 20. Unused. (Fareham PO15) Expired Left-over tiles from a bathroom refurbishment. Tiles have a whitish background with a pink marbling effect. 6 are plain. 2 have a motif in the middle. 4 have a frieze.

Free: Wolf cordless garden shears/trimmer (Fareham PO15) Expired Cordless garden shears. Good for trimming grass in confined spaces where the strimmer can't go, and also has a hedge trimmer type blade for use on small shrubs. The battery needs replacing. It's a popular size used in power drills and other appliances, so if you already have one, or are prepared to buy one, this could be a useful tool.

Free: Yellow iris plants (Fareham PO15) Gifted These are offcuts from yellow irises that have been growing in a pond, but they are just as happy in soil as in water. They grow to about 50cm tall, and flower in summer. They will be wet when you collect them so please bring your own bucket.

Free: Epson Stylus print cartridges. Unused. Still sealed. Epson (Fareham PO15) Gifted Epson Stylus ink cartridges. T0442 T0443 T0444. Genuine Epson Yellow, Magenta, Cyan. Also a black remanufactured cartridge. All are still sealed in original packaging.

Free: Car battery charger. For spares or tinkering. (Fareham PO15) Expired Selmar "Startrite" 12V battery charger. Buzzes promisingly when plugged in, but doesn't give any output. It might be repairable if anyone wants to tinker with it, or it might contain some usable spares.

Free: Large conch shell (Fareham PO15) Gifted About 20cm across. Some damage to the edges but still an interesting decorative item. Holds water and has been used for flower arranging.

Free: Power tools for spares. (Fareham PO15) Gifted Power tools with damaged flexes. Not usable in their present state, but possibly useful for spares. 1) A Black and Decker jig saw. Motor runs. 2) A Black and Decker orbital sander. Motor runs but makes some nasty snatching noises. 3) A big soldering iron.

Free: Rechargeable screwdriver (Fareham PO15) Gifted Challenge rechargeable screwdriver, with charger and various styles of screwdriver bit, in a plastic case. It still works, but has one fault. The handle is supposed to swivel but is jammed. When you press the orange button it should be possible to move it through 90 degrees, but it is stuck in the position shown in the picture.

Free: FM radio. For tinkering or spares. (Fareham PO15) Gifted The radio does work but the volume control is very crackly so you wouldn't want to use it as it is. I hope somebody who likes tinkering will be able to save it from the dump.

Free: Glass jug and dishes (Fareham PO15) Expired A nice glass jug about 16cm tall, with a very heavy base. And 6 shallow glass dishes.

Free: Mitre maker. Cutting guide for saws (Fareham PO15) Gifted Copydex Mitre Maker. This is a gadget from the 1970s before everyone had power tools. If you are cutting mitres by hand, it's still a useful tool. You can set the guide to any angle, not just 90 or 45 and lock it in position. Your saw then moves between rollers that keep it upright.
