Request: Cargo carrier. (Kirkby Stephen CA17) Humongous long shot, but looking for a towbar carrier for my mobility scooter, something like the one pictured. It's getting more difficult for me to load and unload my necessary mobility scooter, which is starting to affect my independence, and I need to protect that for as long as possible. I don't care how far I have to travel to collect, so if you suspect Auntie Freda may have one at the back of her garage in Pontefract I'm game for the drive 😉. Huge thanks for reading this, Lynette.

Free: Very large rug (Kirkby Stephen CA17) Expired Excellent quality contemporary design in red, brown, beige & orange wavy stripes. Received from a lovely couple here on Freegle, but was much larger than I expected: it is 5mts x 3mts, (which I misread as 5ft x 3ft!) but still accepted as I thought it would fit my sitting room, however, it's too big for the floor space and it seems such a shame to cut it up. I can deliver within 20'ish miles of Kirkby Stephen for petrol cost, but it will need 2 people to get it out of my van and I can't help. (Be aware that there are 2 dogs in my home!)

Request: INR home test machine (Kirkby Stephen CA17) Expired I know it's a huge ask as these are expensive, but I'm 70 in a few weeks and i want to spend my time travelling the country in my camper, however, I need to have my blood tested every week at a clinic, which mucks up my chances of touring very far and means having to return home each week for testing. Medical staff agreed if i could get my own machine i could just phone in results and they would direct how much warfrin i need to take each day. Even the Chinese ones are way out of my budget.

Free: Black & Decker KS990E jigsaw (Kirkby Stephen CA17) Gifted As you can see from the photo it seems to be missing a metal base plate, which I cannot find anywhere, but apart from that it works fine. I can't get the blades to stay in, guessing because there'll be some sort of locking mechanism on the baseplate, so if you've got a broken one and can rescue the base plate then this is for you.

Free: Awning for camper/ caravan. (Kirkby Stephen CA17) Gifted Decent condition, but quite a few years old. Lightweight, about 3mts square, Carbon fibre poles, very easy to erect, can be free standing or connected to an awning rail. No tent pegs, but they only cost a couple of pounds for a set. Collection from Kirkby Stephen please.
