Free: Blood pressure monitor (Bloomfield BA2) Old sort that has to be plugged in, but charger etc is all in the box. It has been used, but replaced with a wrist one. It gives the same readings as the new ones, so I think it’s still functioning properly.

Free: Braun electric toothbrush charger (Bloomfield BA2) Left behind by a visitor, but ask everyone I can think of. It’s been hanging around for a while and might not fit the very newest OralB brushes but should be good otherwise.

Free: Phillips Sonicare toothbrush heads. (Bloomfield BA2) I bought this pack of toothbrush heads, opened it to put one on my toothbrush, only need to find out that the toothbrush has stopped working. I replaced it with a different brand - although the pack was opened, these have never been used, and I taped it up.

Free: Fabric: White cotton curtain lining (Bloomfield BA2) I have four lengths of used white cotton curtain lining. It has a few faint marks from light exposure, et cetera. Could be reused in curtains or useful for crafting. It has been laundered and is clean and ready to use. The sizes are shown in one of the photos.

Free: Fabric: Ivory coloured raw silk (Bloomfield BA2) In four separate lengths - see photo for dimensions. This fabric was previously made up into curtains. It has been affected by the light, so the colour is uneven. I’ve cut off the worst damaged patches but there may still be some. However, I think there’s quite a lot of usable fabric that could be harvested for crafting, fancy dress, banner making et cetera. I have laundered this, so it’s clean and ready to use. But please note that it retains the slight ‘oily’ smell, characteristic of raw silk.

Free: Large red sofa (Bloomfield) Expired Our big old 4-seater sofa needs to go to make room for a newer, smaller one. It’s dark red, woven fabric, with feather and foam cushions. There is a small hole in one cushion, and wear to one arm. Both could be easily patched with some creative mending. Otherwise in reasonable condition. (It was reupholstered about 10 years ago.) Dimensions are 255 cms long, 97cms deep and 73 cms wide. Feet come off, and it can be divided into two pieces to make it easier to move. Please note that it needs collecting from the first floor of our house, but access is relatively easy down outside steps. Will need two people though. We can’t store it for long, so let us know soon if you are interested.

Free: Table runner (Bloomfield) Gifted Pretty winter themed fabric table runner. Used but in good condition, with no marks. Thick cotton, washable.

Free: Pale green flat sheet (Bloomfield) Gifted Kingsize, flat sheet, Egyptian cotton from John Lewis. Very pale green. Only used a few times. Very good condition. Washed, ironed and ready to use. Available to collect at any time from outside our house.

Free: Pretty tablecloth (Bloomfield) Gifted Heavy cotton tablecloth - white with blue ‘snowflake’ embroidered patterns. Barely used - no tears or stains. With 6 matching napkins. 190cms x 140cms. (This could be just the thing for someone’s Xmas festivities.) Can be collected at anytime from outside our house.

Free: Mirror in hardwood frame. (Bloomfield) Gifted This is a large, heavy mirror. Overall it measures 40cms x 120cms. It has a tropical hardwood frame, which is 10 cm wide all the way round, with two decorative stone rectangles. It can be hung horizontally or vertically. I bought it about 20 years ago and it’s been hanging in the house all the time. The frame is darkened with age, but there was a wall light over one side, which has a lighter patch (see photo) - but the natural colour is the wood quite uneven so I don’t think it really notices much.

Free: Large wicker baskets (Bloomfield) Expired There are there are two identical baskets. Happy to let these go separately. Let me know if you only want one. Please check the measurements before you ask for these because they really are quite big for storage baskets. 65cms long x 38cm wide x 25 deep. Very sturdy, with carry handles at each end. I bought them to go on shelves years ago, and have used them lots of times since, but they are still in pretty good condition. Could probably be further spruced up but I’ve hosed off the dust and left them out in the sun to dry so all clean and ready to use.

Free: Another picnic blanket (Bloomfield) Expired Well used, but plenty of life left. Great sized large picnic blanket. Approx 11ft x 13ft. Washable, dries quite quickly outside. No holes but there are a couple of small tea/coffee stains that I can’t get out (see photo). I’ve put it through the machine so it’s clean and good to go.

Free: Curtain fabric (Bloomfield) Expired This printed fabric was previously made up into curtains. It is clean with no fading. There are six pieces: 2 x 233cm long x 122 cm wide 4 x 130cm long x 122 cm wide I have added photos with a tape measure so that the scale of the pattern is clear and I’ve done my best with the colour. In one of the pictures you can see where the fabric has faded slightly on the hem lines. The measurements do not include these areas but if you needed them the length, there is a bit extra there.

Free: Printed fabric length (Bloomfield) Gifted This is a lovely piece of fabric, that my mum will have bought years ago on one of her holidays. It’s 3 m long, 112cms wide with an absolutely amazing printed pattern of large firebirds against a mix of clouds etc on blues, pinks and red. I think it is probably artificial silk eg polyester. It’s lightweight and swishes about wonderfully. It would make a brilliant fabric banner, bed hanging etc. I could be made into clothing, although the scale of the pattern would be a challenge. Possibly a robe but would need lining? I did wonder if it might be a sari length. If you are interested in that, I’d be grateful if you let me know what you think you might do with it?

Free: The Ordinary brand hair treatment serum (Bloomfield) Gifted See photos for more information. This is unopened and unused - I bought it for somebody else but they didn’t want to try it as they were using other treatments.

Free: REN Ready Steady Glow tonic (Bloomfield) Gifted Brand-new, unused. Unwanted item arrived in a beauty box.

Free: Sari/fabric length. (Bloomfield) Gifted This is a lovely turquoise sari (the pictures make it look quite blue but it’s definitely turquoise). It has an embroidered border all along one length, along one short edge and about a metre of the other length. I do have the underskirt etc if anybody wants to wear it as a sari, but obviously it’s a beautiful piece of fabric anyway. It’s a chiffon, probably polyester or similar. I have always thought that it would make an absolutely lovely bed hanging, for a child or a teenager as the edge is so pretty.

Free: White cotton curtain lining (Bloomfield) Gifted Three lengths of white cotton curtain lining: 130cms wide x 120 long 130cms wide x 240 long 148cms wide x 190 long I lengthened some curtains for a friend, and had to remove the original linings which were good quality cotton. We launched, and dried them out outdoors in the sunshine. So the colour is good and there are no obvious marks. The wider piece is a different fabric and even better quality. These would be great for crafting or reusing in curtains. As they’ve been washed, I don’t think they would shrink any more and could probably be safely laundered again if necessary.

Free: D-Mannose 2000mg Powder (Bloomfield) Gifted I bought this from Holland and Barrett to try, but it was quickly obvious that it didn’t agree with me. So just a little bit gone from a 90g jar. Obviously removed the powder with a clean spoon, but the jar has been opened and the seal removed. Still in date though and cost around £20 I think.

Free: Unused polycotton(?) fabric (Bloomfield) Gifted Just over 8 yards x 36 inch wide lightweight fabric. Almost like a voile, with a pattern of flower springs and dots. Might make nice lightweight curtains or bed hanging. Will probably need lining if it was to be used for clothes though. I think it’s probably polyester/cotton blend, but don’t know for sure. Clean and unused, but in storage for a long time.

Request: Off cuts of cement tile board (6mm) (Bloomfield) Expired Does anyone have any unwanted off cuts of cement tile backer board left over? Hardie board or similar. I use these as the base for making small garden mosaics.

Free: Fig tree (Bloomfield) Gifted Yesterday we wrestled this very pot bound fig tree out of its pot. We’ve wrapped the rootball in plastic but obviously, the sooner it gets replanted the better. it is just starting to sprout. I think it is the variety Brown Marseille, but I can’t be sure as the label is gone. We have had fruit from it we really didn’t have it in the right position. It needs lots of light and sun. It’s about 10 years old and 5 feet high. We have kept it smaller through pruning obviously, it can get lots bigger if you have room for it. It’s heavy, and will need a strong person to transfer it from the wheelbarrow into a large car or van.
