Pure digital radio (Bloomfield BA2)
This is an early Pure digital radio. Unfortunately, the digital radio signal here in my bit of Bath declined to the point where this was simply unusable. But it had a really nice tone. The transformer/plug is now broken (I do have the missing pin) so it needs repairing. It might be useful for someone who doesn’t want to use other devices to listen to the radio and does have digital signal.

Old sort that has to be plugged in, but charger etc is all in the box. It has been used, but replaced with a wrist one. It gives the same readings as the new ones, so I think it’s still functioning properly.

Someone bought these as a contribution to Christmas a couple of years ago. We’ve eaten all the crisps, but I don’t know if someone can make use of the tin? 24 cms high, 22cms across. It’s not particularly strong but it’s reasonably airtight with the lid on. Or might be fun just to use as a planter.

This is a really lovely 100% wool Paul Smith cardigan, size L (14). It’s a deeper turquoise colour than it looks in the picture. I bought it in a sale, and it was always a bit too big for me, but before I could get around to reselling it, the moths had a nibble. I can’t bear to throw it away, and I can’t be bothered to mend something I’m never going to wear. Does anyone else out there fancy doing some creative mending on this one?

Genuinely 1970’s G-plan corner unit - in generally good condition but base unit top needs a bit of TLC. Breaks into two pieces for transport. Approx measurements total unit 145 cm high, base 54cms high, 45 cms deep. (Bought with other G plan unit last year but can’t fit it in.)

This box is very solid and was handmade in order to collect and gift £2 coins - it held quite a few! Can’t think what else to do with it, and if no one else wants it, it’ll go to the tip. But I know how resourceful the Freeglers are - and who knows some of you might still be using cash and might like to use this as a way of saving/gifting. If you start now, you might get it full for Christmas.

All the details are in the photos. Comes complete with USB charger - all that’s missing is the tube of serum. This came FOC as part of a review panel. My daughter and I both tried it and thought it was surprisingly effective, but neither of us were that interested in continuing to use it. It’s been sitting in a drawer for a few years, but no reason to think it’s not still working fine.

This is 34mm in diameter and measures about 220 cms long, including finials. Complete with rings finials and fixing brackets. All in good condition and all made of wood, with uniform dark stain.

Cream coloured toaster. Makes great toast and was working last time we used it. We’ve been using it for over 15 year but cracks have appeared in the plastic casing. We carried on using it for years after these appeared - it doesn’t affect the performance and you can turn them to the back so that they are not really visible.

Dark wood curtain pole, with gilded finials. Complete with rings and brackets. Previously used for a door curtain 36mm diameter, 140cms in total including finials, actual pole length is 120 cms. A few marks from use/storage but nothing that would show if the pole was in use.

I bought this pack of toothbrush heads, opened it to put one on my toothbrush, only need to find out that the toothbrush has stopped working. I replaced it with a different brand - although the pack was opened, these have never been used, and I taped it up.

I have four lengths of used white cotton curtain lining. It has a few faint marks from light exposure, et cetera. Could be reused in curtains or useful for crafting. It has been laundered and is clean and ready to use. The sizes are shown in one of the photos.

Fabric: Ivory coloured raw silk (Bloomfield BA2)

In four separate lengths - see photo for dimensions. This fabric was previously made up into curtains. It has been affected by the light, so the colour is uneven. I’ve cut off the worst damaged patches but there may still be some. However, I think there’s quite a lot of usable fabric that could be harvested for crafting, fancy dress, banner making et cetera. I have laundered this, so it’s clean and ready to use. But please note that it retains the slight ‘oily’ smell, characteristic of raw silk.

Large red sofa (Bloomfield)

Our big old 4-seater sofa needs to go to make room for a newer, smaller one. It’s dark red, woven fabric, with feather and foam cushions. There is a small hole in one cushion, and wear to one arm. Both could be easily patched with some creative mending. Otherwise in reasonable condition. (It was reupholstered about 10 years ago.) Dimensions are 255 cms long, 97cms deep and 73 cms wide. Feet come off, and it can be divided into two pieces to make it easier to move. Please note that it needs collecting from the first floor of our house, but access is relatively easy down outside steps. Will need two people though. We can’t store it for long, so let us know soon if you are interested.

Heavy cotton tablecloth - white with blue ‘snowflake’ embroidered patterns. Barely used - no tears or stains. With 6 matching napkins. 190cms x 140cms. (This could be just the thing for someone’s Xmas festivities.) Can be collected at anytime from outside our house.

Mirror in hardwood frame. (Bloomfield)

This is a large, heavy mirror. Overall it measures 40cms x 120cms. It has a tropical hardwood frame, which is 10 cm wide all the way round, with two decorative stone rectangles. It can be hung horizontally or vertically. I bought it about 20 years ago and it’s been hanging in the house all the time. The frame is darkened with age, but there was a wall light over one side, which has a lighter patch (see photo) - but the natural colour is the wood quite uneven so I don’t think it really notices much.

There are there are two identical baskets. Happy to let these go separately. Let me know if you only want one. Please check the measurements before you ask for these because they really are quite big for storage baskets. 65cms long x 38cm wide x 25 deep. Very sturdy, with carry handles at each end. I bought them to go on shelves years ago, and have used them lots of times since, but they are still in pretty good condition. Could probably be further spruced up but I’ve hosed off the dust and left them out in the sun to dry so all clean and ready to use.

Another picnic blanket (Bloomfield)

Well used, but plenty of life left. Great sized large picnic blanket. Approx 11ft x 13ft. Washable, dries quite quickly outside. No holes but there are a couple of small tea/coffee stains that I can’t get out (see photo). I’ve put it through the machine so it’s clean and good to go.
