Free: hover mower (Ashfield CA14) Promised I have an 18 month old flymo hover mower. It has become very noisy. When I told Flymo they gave me another one under the guarantee and told me to discard this one. However it works ok. Its just very noisy. It may benefit from a clean and maybe a drop of WD40. I don't know if it will last for long but if anyone wants to take it and give it a try you are very welcome. It has not been PAT tested but it worked fine and safely when I used it two weeks ago. I won't be responsible for how long it keeps going. Given as seen.

Free: fire surround and mantlepiece (Ashfield CA14) Later this week a builder is removing this fireplace for me. The wood surround, back board and hearth (marble?) are available for anyone who wants them assuming the builder gets them out without damage. The fire is not included as I need to sell that.

Free: Sundial (Ashfield CA14) Gifted Metal sundial. No stand included. I had it on top of and covering a concrete bird bath. 280mm dia. Please note the photo gives the impression that it's two colours. This is not correct. It is dark grey

Free: Bissell Carpet Shampooer (Ashfield CA14) Gifted This is old but works fine. Hold 2 litres of solution. Parting with it because it is very noisy and my dog is petrified when I use it. A small clip on the side came off and I can't see how to reattach it, but it's not affecting the efficiency of the machine. Anyone taking it will probably work out how to put it back on.

Request: Edward Marston Books (Ashfield CA14) Withdrawn Does anyone have any of the EDWARD MARSTON RAILWAY DETECTIVE books they no longer want? I have an elderly friend who has just started reading them and would love more. I can collect Workington, Cockermouth, Maryport, Whitehaven. Sadly any further afield and petrol costs don't make it viable. So thank you to those in Carlisle etc who offer but I must decline.

Free: Empty Pots (Ashfield CA14) Withdrawn A large number of empty plastic pots. A small sample shown in photo. These stand about 3.5 inches high. Screw top. Originally contained samples of licorice. But ideal for buttons, paperclips and other bits and pieces. Also suitable for conserves, jams, rum butters etc. At present in Cockermouth and can be picked up there but also can arrange pick up from Workington if given enough notice.

Free: Window Cleaning Brush (Ashfield CA14) Gifted I have two window cleaning devices. One is an almost new window brush that attaches to a hose. (Green in photo) The other is a sponge and squeegie for removing the water after brushing. (Red in photo) The former is hardly used, the latter has been well used but still works ok and its sponge can be replaced. Both are telescopic so reaches upstairs fine, though I doubt either will reach a third storey. I want them to go as a pair.

Free: Lawn Spike Shoes (Ashfield CA14) Expired Overshoes for aerating the lawn. Wear over the top of existing shoes/boots and stomp all over the lawn to aerate it. Helps eradicate moss and make lawn a lot healthier.

There is nothing wrong with it but my garden is to exposed and there isn't a way of tying it down. If you have a sheltered spot and want to give it a try let me know. I can take it apart fully if you can't get it in your vehicle. It comes with assembly instructions.

Request: PVC straight connecter for plastic greenhouse (Ashfield CA14) Expired Does anyone have a spare straight connector for a plastic greenhouse. I am just putting together my new Woodside tomato house and manged to split one. They don't come with spares and I can't find the straight ones on the internet at all. As far as I can tell its 16mm dia and 60mm long. Alternatively if anyone has a piece of copper pipe that would go round it to protect the split, I could try that. It only needs to be 4omm to 60mm long as i don't have the means to shorten a longer piece. Anyone with any ideas are welcome to contact me.

Free: Solar Fountain (Ashfield CA14) Gifted I bought this little solar fountain. About 6 inches across. Although it works it doesn't do so very well. I don't know if I don't have enough sun where I wanted it. I wonder if anyone else would like to give it a try. It comes with instructions and has to be placed in a bowl of water at least 3 or 4 inches deep.

Free: Pillows (Ashfield CA14) Expired Two good condition clean pillows. One memory foam and one feather. Can split or take both. I have too many pillows so am having a clear out. I also have other pillows available but they are older.

Free: Pressure Washer (Ashfield CA14) Gifted Power Devil pressure washer. Mains power. Comes with three nozzles. My husband got this from a free site some years ago but I don't think he ever used it. I wouldn't know where to start so if someone can take it that will be great. I don't know how it works and can only assume it does work. It did when he went to collect it but it has sat in my garage for last 6 years at least, unused.

Free: Rollator (Ashfield CA14) Gifted Large size rollator. In good condition though it is missing a screw. Still usable and the screw could be easily replaced. Seat 14" wide over frame width 21"

Free: Double Mattress (Ashfield CA14) Gifted This is an excellent condition double mattress only bought a few years ago. It is high quality latex, so cooler than memory foam. Completely unmarked. With rigid sides to give more stability. The only reason I am parting with it is because I now have a bone condition that means I need a softer mattress. Though this one has an inbuilt soft topper the over all effect is too firm for me. Included with it is a brand new neck pillow as seen in the photo. Because of the stiffened sides this mattress cannot be folded or rolled so you will need a spacious vehicle/van to transport it. Latex mattresses are quite heavy so it needs two people to move it. I can probably help this end but I recommend two people coming to collect.
