Free: Acoustic Guitar (CT5) Gifted Classical acoustic guitar with nylon strings and a soft case (not pictured). I think it was a former school one, great for someone wanting to start learning. It seems to hold it's tuning fairly well. -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- If you are expecting a reply PLEASE PLEASE remember to check your SPAM folder, you'd be amazed how many messages we find/or hear of that are missed because they've got sent to spam by over zealous email filters, Yahoo being by far the worst. Free: Wood/T&G, Logs, Pallets (CT5) Gifted A pile of 45mm tongue and groove interlocking logs left over from a log cabin build, 2 standard sized pallets and one lighter weight double length one. Not all of the logs are complete in the middle (look closely at the bottom one), and were offcuts the company joined together for packaging. Note: I have since found the blue pallet belongs to a particular company, can not be given away and can only be returned to them. The rest is fair game. Free: Plasterboard 1 Large Sheet and Offcuts (CT5) Expired Light blue soundbloc plasterboard. One large sheet with a bit cut off, so approx 2m x 1.2m x 12.5mm. Plus there are lots of offcuts, with the next largest being around 0.3 x 1.2m. Left over from a building project, now I need them out the way quickly. -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- Please remember to check your account for 'Chat' messages from other members and/or site volunteers. Free: Large Wooden Shed, 3m x 5m (CT5) Expired A wooden shed, over 20 years old. Not too bad, some rot in a bit of the roof and some around one corner, most of the frame is fine. It was never built on a proper base and doesn't have any bearers connecting the side walls. It is joined onto a metal shed (edge of the picture), that bit is not included. But it does mean the far end is open. If you want this as a shed, you will need to build a new end and I'd recommended adding bearers and a base. The floor is plywood thrown on bare earth. I'm keeping those as scrap wood for a building project. I have no idea why it was built like this! It has a side door and two large doors at one end. Roof is tongue and groove, I'll have to tear the felt to take the roof off. The walls are made of two sections, 2.5m wide. Edit since original posting: The shed is now down (3rd picture), if I there are no takers by about Thursday, it will go to the tip. It will take a few trips so plenty of opportunities if someone wants scrap wood. -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- Please remember to check your account for 'Chat' messages from other members and/or site vounteers. Free: New Stair Parts - Newel Post Bases (CT5) Expired 3 Richard Burbidge pine newel post bases, never used and still in the shrink wrap. 82x82mm cross section, one is 900mm long, the other is 700mm. They have a hole in the end as a socket for the rest of the post. They seem a reasonable bit of pine I always thought would be useful, but 15 years on time for a clear out. -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- Please remember to check your account for 'Chat' messages from other members and/or site vounteers. Free: Wooden Children's Playhouse (CT5) Gifted Kids playhouse, 5'x6' (1.52m x 1.68m) in reasonable condition. It could do with another coat of paint and if I still have some left from last time, I'll give you that too. It should dismantle into the four side panels. The roof is secured from above so the felt will need to be torn and replaced to get that off. I'm happy to either dismantle in advance or help you take it apart when you collect. We are near Ham Shades Lane so it may be possible for a few people to carry it if we can get it over the gate, if you are very local. The side panels are 1.73m x 1.15m, the ends are 1.52m x 1.57m. -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- Please remember to check your account for 'Chat' messages from other members and/or site vounteers. Free: Kids Pink Scooter (CT5) Gifted A pink kids scooter, this has four wheels rather than 2 so it is fairly stable and the handle bars go up, so it is good for kids up to late primary school. -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- Please remember to check your account for 'Chat' messages from other members and/or site vounteers. Free: Kids Garden and Sand Pit Toys (CT5) Gifted Big selection of kids garden and sand pit toys There are all sorts of things my kids have outgrown. A swingball, two space hoppers, many ball pit balls, buckets and spades, a croquet set, the yellow and green ring near the front is a pop-out tunnel and the thing in the bag is a small sun-shade tent. I'd prefer someone to take them all, but I'm happy to take out particular items if there is something specific you want. -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- Please remember to check your account for 'Chat' messages from other members and/or site vounteers. Free: Wardrobe and matching drawers (CT5) Expired Wardrobe and matching drawers in Whitstable. Wardrobe (WxDxH) is 75 x 50 x 180cm Draws 75x40x93cm The base of most of the drawers are a bit warped and pop out at the back, so they need a little TLC. Possibly just add a bracket at the back. The wardrobe will dismantle if that makes it easier, or it will probably fit in my car if anyone in Whitstable will struggle to transport it. -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- Please remember to check your account for 'Chat' messages from other members and/or site vounteers. Free: Chest freezer (CT5) Expired A Scanidonva chest freezer, measuring WxDxH 73x65x84 cm. Something online said it was about 180L in capacity and I think the model is CF84C. It works and freezes food. But....it is about 25-30 years old. I've had it a long time and it was second hand to me (previously used by a club which folded, not used domestically). Although it works, the magnetic seal around the lid is not as strong as it used to be. We have been finding it has not been sealing properly, which leads to a lot of ice forming around the lid and that then prevents it closing. We regularly have to hack ice away to get the lid down again. As a result of the constant cold air leaking, there is mildew around the seal. I'm not sure if it can be replaced, but that might turn it back into a very good freezer for a few years to come. I've just turned it off and I'll need to clean the ice out after if defrosts, so it should be ready to pick up from Friday evening or over the weekend. -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- Please remember to check your account for 'Chat' messages from other members and/or site vounteers.
