Free: Shoe rack - extendable (Clerwood EH12) Chrome bar shoe rack. It expands from 62cm long to a huge 116cm long according to your space. Height is 36cm and depth front to back is 23cm. Good condition - there's a couple of small scratches on the chrome but very minor, and no rust. Collection only from Drumbrae / Corstorphine area. Free: Loft insulation rolls x 14 (200mm) (Clerwood EH12) Gifted Knauf Space Blanket rolls, 200mm thick. 14 full rolls plus a part roll available. All sound, dry and unused. This insulation is encapsulated in an outer film so it doesn't shed - it simply needs rolled out - ideal for topping up existing insulation. Each roll is 200mm deep x 370mm wide x 4.0m long (area = 1.48 sq metre per roll). Happy for someone to take the lot or just a few rolls if that's what you need. Note if you are interested in taking all 14+ rolls, unless you have a van / large car, you might need to do a double car run. Free: Decking timber - for compost bin or garden use (Clerwood EH12) Gifted I've got multiple bits of sturdy decking timber - mostly pre-used but all sound and no rot. A lot of the pieces came from a disassembled compost bin, hence the pieces with spacers, but could be repurposed for lots of garden uses. The 4 longest pieces are 220cm-240cm. Free: Snorkelling gear – mask, snorkel & fins (Clerwood EH12) Gifted I have a mask, snorkel & fins that someone can maybe use? I can’t provide any warranties, but the mask was all fine and leak-free last time it was used. The Cressi fins are marked as “medium” in size, length 53cm. I wear a ladies size 39 shoe (size 6) and they fitted well, but there’s an adjustable strap that will provide adjustment to make smaller or larger. Free: Small cushions x 2 (Clerwood EH12) Gifted Two small colourful cushions, with stripes in pink, orange and green shades. The darker stripes are a dark brown-grey. Satin sheen fabric. Fillers are feather and have their original fire labels. Size - each cushion is approximately 30 x 30cm, so smaller than a typical sofa cushion, but perfect for a small chair, bed or kids room. Free: Perennial pink thistles / Cirsium rivulare 'Atropurpureum' (Clerwood EH12) Gifted I have 4 spare clumps of Cirsium perennial plants that need a good home. UPDATE - all 4 plants now promised. I often refer to these as “pink thistles”, full name is Cirsium rivulare 'Atropurpureum'. Some garden websites will tell you this is a ”short-lived” perennial, but I’ve been growing mine in my clay soil for years, and they always come back and have bulked up and been divided into lots more plants, so they seem to be made of tougher stuff than they are given credit for! Usually they don’t flower until around June/July, but of course everything is early this year, so they’re coming into flower now. The leaves will go a bit tatty after flowering, but deadhead after flowering and trim off the tatty bits of leaves, and you’ll get new growth and more flowers later in the summer. Note for parents/pet owners - although these are “thistles”, the leaves of the plants are far softer than those of our native purple thistles, and so although the leaves are a little bit spiny, they are softer prickles and don’t have super-sharp spikes like native thistles have. They do best in sun to get lots of flowers – a quick google will give you full growing requirements. The leaf clump will grow to around 50cm, with the flower spikes maybe around 60-100cm tall (shorter on younger plants). When replying, please advise how many plants you’d like (max 4 available). Free: Brodit car mobile phone holder - Mount for Seat Ibiza (Clerwood EH12) Gifted This is a car-specific mobile phone holder bracket - for a Seat Ibiza. Brodit 854271 ProClip central mount – for Seat Ibiza 2009-17. Gap opener tool included. Previously used, so double-sided sticky tape may need replaced. IMPORTANT – The Brodit phone holder system requires 2 parts – this is the car-specific mount for the Seat Ibiza 2009-17 ONLY. It needs a suitable Brodit phone holder to be fitted to this – easily sourced online. The last photo shown is of the bracket with the additional of the phone holder part (and phone!) to give you an idea of what it looks like once assembled - the phone holder part is NOT available and will need to be purchased/sourced elsewhere. ----------------------------------------------------------------- See Brodit website for fitting details. I used this in my previous Ibiza – it provides a great position on the central console for easy viewing, particularly if using your phone for sat nav. You’ll need to buy one of Brodit’s phone holders to fit on to the ProClip mount – there are adjustable versions which expand to hold a range of phone sizes, so no need to remove skins before slotting into the holder. Free: Pair of metal & mango wood side tables (Clerwood EH12) Gifted 2 nested tables that can sit together. Black metal frames, light coloured solid mango wood tops, which have variable cream-yellow tones in the timber – see photos. As the tops are natural wood (i.e. not mdf etc), there are some very small nicks / slight roughness in the cut-ends of the wood – these have been there since new and are just a feature of the tops being made from natural timber. Free: Tassels for crafting (Clerwood EH12) Gifted Can anyone use these tassels in a crafting project? 12 in total, a neutral light cream/oatmeal colour. They came off some cushions covers - label says they are 100% cotton. Some of the lengths vary slightly - ranging from 9.5cm to 11cm. Preferable if someone can take all of them together. Free: Ikea birch wood table lamp (Clerwood EH12) Gifted Ikea solid birch wood table lamp. I’ve left on the blue lamp shade but this could easily be swapped out to something else. Will need an ES/E27 screw fit bulb (not included). Note that as its Ikea, the lamp shade needs to be a euro fitting, or cut to fit. Free: Two king sized duvets (marked) (Clerwood EH12) Gifted Two king sized duvets. Both 10.5 tog (winter weight). Washable. Both clean, but have discolouration marks along a couple of the edges that haven’t come out in wash. Thought I’d offer in case someone can use for pet bedding etc before I put them to recycling. Free: Pair of large curtains (Clerwood EH12) Gifted Can anyone make use of these curtains? Large floor length curtains in a satin “champagne” coloured fabric with a shadow wave pattern running down the length. They are lined, but the lining, particularly at the bottom, has gone a bit discoloured. There is no staining or bleaching as far as I can see on the front fabric (they were used in a north facing room, so no sun damage). The size of each individual curtain is a drop of 88 inches (224cm) and a width of 90 inches (229cm). So together, if you want to still use as curtains, they should fill a pole/track length of 90 to 112 inches (228-284cm), according to Dunelm! Collection from Drumbrae/Corstorphine (EH12). Free: Garage small parts storage cabinet (24 bins) (Clerwood EH12) Gifted Garage small storage cabinet, for nails, screws etc etc. There are 24 bins/drawers, with a few separators that allow some of them to be sub-divided. Metal case, clear plastic drawers. The brand is Raaco; you can buy extra dividers if needed (from Raaco direct, also stocked by Zoro). Needs a clean but otherwise fully functioning and none of the drawers are broken. There are holes at the back of the unit to allow the cabinet to be wall mounted. Size of cabinet is approx 55.5cm high, 30.5cm wide, 16cm deep. The internal size of each bin is approx 13.5cm front to back, 8.8cm wide, 5.6cm deep.
