Free: Epson 26XL compatible ink cartridges (part used) (Clerwood EH12) Withdrawn - My Epson printer has terminally broken down - just wondering if someone can use the remaining contents of the ink cartridges? They are "Cartridge People" brand high capacity compatible cartridges. For Epson printers that use "Polar Bear" type cartridges. There are 5 cartridges in total - T2621 / T2631 / T2632 / T2633 / T2634. From memory, I don't think there was much ink left in the yellow cartridge, but a reasonable amount left in the rest of them. Details of which Epson printers they work with can be found here: Collection from Drumbrae / Corstorphine area. Thanks for looking.

Free: Large storage sideboard (NOW PROMISED PENDING COLLECTION) (Clerwood EH12) Gifted - NOW PROMISED PENDING COLLECTION A bulky item, but just thought I’d offer this sideboard in case anyone can use it. IMPORTANT – recipient will need to have a helper and transport (i.e. a van or large estate car) to transport the item – sorry, but my car isn’t big enough to assist! Needs to be collected no later than Sat 4th March (it will have to go off to recycling centre after that). Ikea, birch veneer sideboard. Very sturdy. Provides lots of storage with 3 internal cupboards, each with a shelf in the middle. Good condition. There is a very small area on the top surface on the far left (around the size of a 50p) where varnish looks to have worn (see photo), a couple of extremely small marks and the magnetics catches on the doors could do with replacing, though they still work. Size: 150cm long, 80cm height, 39 cm depth (front to back). Each of the 3 cupboards internally (usable space) is approx 45cm wide, 36cm deep, and each shelf provides around 22cm of height space. There are 2 small holes in the centre cupboard at the back which used to allow for cables to pass through (see photos). Please email if interested or if you need any other details. Recipient to uplift no later than Saturday 4th March. Collection is from Drumbrae / Corstorphine area. Thanks for looking.

Request: Plywood - small piece 1/2" thickness (Clerwood EH12) Received - Hi, I'm looking for a small piece of plywood for a repair. Needs to be 1/2" (12.5mm) thickness to match existing plywood, but I only need a small piece around 15 x 20cm, so feels like madness to buy a full sheet. Does anyone have a bit lurking in their garage they could spare please? I can collect, west / central Edinburgh preferred. Thanks very much!

Note it’s important you have the right size of balloon for your chimney, please see link below for sizing instructions – my one is a medium rectangular Chimney Balloon for a chimney void up to 24” x 12”. / You’ll also need a foot pump or mouth inflation tube (you have to put the balloon up into the chimney before you inflate it!). Free: Double Duvet, 12.0 tog (Clerwood EH12) Gifted - Hi, I have an 'as new' double bed sized duvet available (approx 195 x 195cm), winter weight 12.0 tog. Polyester filling - washable. Never used, its just been lurking in a ziplock bag. It's clean and I've given it an airing and it's not musty or damp. It's a fairly basic brand I think, not the softest outer fabric, but will still keep you toasty. Collection only from Corstorphine/Drumbrae area. Thanks very much.

Free: Firewood for outdoor fire pit (Clerwood EH12) Gifted - I’ve got a large bag of chopped timber (small pieces), suitable for using as a fire starter for garden firepit/bbq etc. There’s no obvious preservative/stain etc on the wood, but there are decking off-cuts etc in the bag, so I’m guessing some of the timber might be pressure-treated and so not suitable for an indoor stove. Has been stored in a garage, so nice and dry! Collection only; Drumbrae / Corstorphine area. Thanks for looking.

It’s an ‘ecopot’ which is made of composite recycled plastic – very robust but light enough to carry! Shatterproof and frost resistant. Just needs a clean and fitting kit if required. I think it holds 100 L – water butt width/depth is 35 x 35 cm, 39 x 39 cm at bottom of base. Free: Mixed bare root hedging – 9 plants (Clerwood EH12) Gifted - I’ve got some left-over bare root hedging that has been heeled in and kept watered since early spring – now sprouting, but should still thrive if planted now and kept well watered. See photos. There are 9 plants – so enough for a hedge around 14-17 feet long if planted 18-22”” apart. The plants are: 4 x hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) 2 x hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) 1 x cotoneaster (Cotoneaster franchetii) 1 x Wild privet (Ligustrum vulgare) 1 x Field Maple (Acer campestre) The field maple and one of the hornbeams is struggling a wee bit, but should hopefully come away given some TLC. All the plants need at least partial sun, but full sun not necessary – I have all the above plants growing in partial sun, in clay soil, and they all do fine. Please consider planting requirements before hitting the reply button! Please email if interested. Pick-up is from Drumbrae/Corstorphine area. Note I will leave the plants in the ground until collection, when I will dig them up and provide them in a bag – so you’ll need time to get the roots buried again at least temporarily when you get them home. Suitable days for pick-up are this Thursday (9th June), Saturday (11th June), or one evening next week. Thanks for looking.
