Leather and metal rocking chair (Slateford EH14)
Promised
Lovely chair - but doesn't have fire safety label so charity shops won't take it. But with no padding it hopefully won't be a fire risk.

Stained glass scrap pieces - green, blue, some lead (Slateford EH14)
I tried making my own stained glass pictures many years ago. I haven't done anything since, but still had these scraps of glass and some lead kicking around. The green piece is the biggest (see ruler alongside) in photo. Might be of use to someone just starting on this hobby?

2 small lamp bases. Touch the base to turn lamp on/off (Slateford EH14)
Gifted
Each base has a diameter of 8cms and height of 4cms. They used to have cylindrical shades but after lots of wear and tear those broke. I think these could make an interesting craft project if you want to make your own lampshades.

Flatbed Microwave 800w George - works great - some rust (Slateford EH14)

Bought about 8 years ago and still working fine. But the bits of rust bothered some members of the household so have bought a new one pretty much exactly the same. Flatbed means it's easier to clean, it's a 20L one so dimensions smaller than most. Height 27.2cm Width 45.7cm Depth 37.9cm

6 pale pink tile samples (Slateford EH14)
Withdrawn
Picked these up while trying to decide on new tiles for bathroom. I have no use for them now, but before binning I thought I'd see if anyone could use them? A craft project maybe? For mosaics perhaps? Will throw them out if no response by weekend.

Free:
2 oil cloth remnants. 34cm x 130cm and 27cm x 130cm (Slateford EH14)
Gifted
2 oil cloth remnants that someone could perhaps make into small bags? They have brightly coloured parrots and flowers on them. One has a bit of orange staining on it. This might come off - I haven't attempted to do that. You should be able to see it in the photo.

Shrunken wool jumpers - that have 'felted' after hot wash (Slateford EH14)
Expired
If you've accicentally shrunk your pure wool jumper in the wash then don't throw it out. If it's turned into a small 'felted' item then I might be able to cut it up for craft projects. e.g. Decorations, bag, hat? I actually don't know yet - just want to experiment.

wastepaper bin - crying out to be up-cycled. (Slateford EH14)
Expired
I've had this wastepaper bin for over 30 years. It used to look like it was made of leather but it's actually a fake covering and in the last year or so the 'leather' has started to rub off. If I had the time and the skills I'd re-cover it with jazzy material or decoupage because it's a really nice wee bin and is still in good condition on the inside. Would anyone like it?
