Free: Garden Waste Bulk Bag (Scriven HG5) Large bulk bag, ideal for taking garden waste to the tip. Especially good for leaves as you can get a lot in and they’re not too heavy, but useful for all garden waste as long as you don’t make it too heavy to lift! Originally used for a bulk landscaping materials delivery, but single use only and non-returnable. It is very strong and has a lot of use left, so it would be a shame to just landfill it. Free: Music, Poetry, Story and British History Cassettes (Scriven HG5) Gifted While clearing out my late father-in-law’s house, we came across a few audio recordings of music, poetry, story and British history, mostly on cassettes. I know very few people will be using this technology today, but if anyone is and any of the items listed below are of interest, you are most welcome to them. Free: 3 x Scissor Jacks (Scriven HG5) Gifted Three scissor jacks. They come from old vehicles I used to own prior to them being scrapped. Would need to improvise with a metal bar to replace the original missing handles, but the jacks themselves do turn quite easily. JACK 1: Nissan made. Max load 480 KG JACK 2: Unbranded but is CE embossed (European EEA standard safety mark) Nominal load 700 KG JACK 3: Nissan made. 865 KG Max safe working load. Free: A Wide Range of Children’s Outdoor Toys (Scriven HG5) Gifted After a clear out, I have all these outdoor toys that my own children have long since grown out of. Ranging from toys aimed at 3+ to a badminton set for older kids and many individual pieces such as a hoop, skipping rope, croquet set, skittles, tennis balls very young child’s cricket bat. These pieces haven’t been used for years, so there may be the odd pieces missing, (also new shuttlecocks advisable for the badminton set, as the soft rubber ends have perished, so won’t work as well) but there’s plenty to go at for entertaining children in the garden for the rest of the summer. Free: Young Children’s Hoppers (Scriven HG5) Gifted 3 young children’s space hoppers free to anyone who wants them. The two orange ones are the same size (about 45cm diameter with the yellow one being a bit smaller at around 35cm diameter). One of the orange ones is a little marked from being left out in the garden for a bit, but they are all in good condition otherwise. These can go as a set or individually if you only want one. The Yellow one is suitable for kids over 3 (not to be used any younger than that for safety reasons) and the orange ones are suitable for kids up to around 9 years of age. The products are for use on grass or other soft surfaces (never on concrete or tarmac) and kids should always be supervised when using them. Collect only, from Ripley Road area, Knaresborough.

Free: ELC Pour and Play Water Run (Scriven HG5) Gifted ELC Pour and Play Water Run. This is a system compatible with ELC (Early Learning Centre) sand and water tables, it fits into the slots between the two trays. Great for very young children who like pouring water through things to see what happens (my son would spend hours playing with it, he loved anything connected with water). Would ideally need someone who already has an ELC sand & water table though, as I doubt it would be compatible with other makes. We did have the table originally, but that has now long since gone. Free: Seaside Toys for Very Young Children (Scriven HG5) Gifted Going to the beach, but short on toys for very young children? In good working order. If in a hard water area a descaling is advisable occasionaly to prevent limescale build up. Collect from Knaresborough Ripley Road area.

Free: Childs Used Wooden Skateboard (Scriven HG5) Gifted Childs Used ‘Zinc’ branded wooden skateboard, 72cm long (approximately 28 inches), 20cm wide (8 inches) 50kg (7st 12lbs) weight capacity. Still in good working order. Should be used with safety helmet, knee, elbow and wrist pads.

Free: Bathroom Mirror (Scriven HG5) Expired Bevel edged bathroom mirror measuring 46 x 61 cm (approx. 1 ft 6ins x 2 ft 0 ins). Mirror is in excellent condition apart from some very minor loss of coating on the bevel edges. Would need additional fixings to attach to the wall. Collect from Ripley Road area in Knaresborough (HG5).
