Free: Christmas Tree for charity or community use (Greaves LA1) We have a tree growing close to our back door, which has been our Christmas tree in past years. It’s now almost 2 meters wide and 3 meters tall. We would like it to be used by a charity or community, preferably planted and not just cut down, but the roots may be quite extensive by now. Whoever is picking up needs to brig tools and a van. If it goes to private use a generous donation to Cancer Care would be appreciated. Collection from back garden in Scotforth, South Lancaster

Free: Divan Double bed base only, Scotforth near cemetery (Greaves LA1) Gifted In good condition with 4 drawers. It comes in 2 parts for easier transportation. You’ll need a big car or van. It’s upstairs and will need to be carried down. It’s more awkward than heavy, but a 2 person job. No mattress included!

Request: IKEA bed slats for double bed; sofa cushions for camping bed (Greaves LA1) Received Hi, I’ve been given an IKEA double bed frame, but no slats. If anyone has some hanging around, I’d love to come and pick them up. Also… I’m after some good supportive sofa cushions or similar to use for micro camping. I had some IKEA Karlstad ones years ago that would have been ideal, but I gave them away! Thanks for reading!

Free: Tent Drive away awning (Greaves LA1) Gifted This is a large tent, with a sleeping compartment if you want it up. Freestanding or attached to van. It’s got some damage where it connects to the passenger door of a van, but we used it like this and it’s fine. Also, not sure all the poles are reliable, but these are standard fibre glass ones and can easily be replaced. Collection only from Scotforth.

Free: Electric mitre saw; large car roof box (Greaves LA1) Gifted The saw was working last time I used it. Needs a clean and an oil... The roof box is large! My son has drilled holes into the bottom to fit it to fit it. It was pretty solid then; you could do the same. Collection from front garden in Scotforth.

Request: baby/pet stairgate up to 1m wide, preferably wooden (Greaves LA1) Expired I need to put a stairgate in our hallway and our current one isn’t wide enough. So if anyone has an extension section or a gate they don’t need anymore I’d be very grateful. Our current one is a standard, but older Lindam one. Many thanks. Trixi

Free: Sandwich toastie maker, Wilko (Greaves LA1) Gifted Not used much. Works fine, nothing special. Collection from Scotforth.

Free: Micke desk, Ikea white. (Greaves LA1) Expired I was given this a while ago, but our room arrangements have changed and I won’t be needing it for a while yet, if ever. It is the standard Ikea design with a cupboard on one side and a drawer. The top isn’t original, but from another Ikea piece of furniture and it fits. I believe all the parts are there. Door collection from Highgrove/Scotforth!
